I receive child support via this service and it works fine each and every month for over three years.  Assume that it is through BOA, as dad is out of the country living the high life cheaply as an ex pat, while the rest of us slave away living legit lives not sucking off government funds.

This is a complete scam. It looks like a check but when you try to deposit it, it processes as if it was a check you had written and, instead of getting the amount credited back to your account, it's deducted instead. DO NOT DEPOSIT THESE CHECKS.

Any check this number is associated with is likely a scam.  Never wire money to anyone you don't know.  Never deposit a check and then send money back.  If someone sends you a check and asks for money back, they are trying to scam you.  Anyone can print a check that looks real (ie:  it "scans" through a check scanner) while in their living room with blank check stock, (purchased at any office supply store), a magnetic ink cartridge and a real (read - stolen) checking account/routing number.  If it sounds too good to be true, it is!!

This was not a phone call - I received a suspicious looking check from them - thanks to some of the posts on here I realized it was a check someone sent me (parents of a friend of my daughter's using a bill pay service) for a concert that we bought tickets to.  I didn't know their name but it is listed on the top left corner.  Glad I didn't throw it away.  Thanks.

I have been pd alimony 2xs every single month thru this 3rd party. Obviously, they represent many clients. People are so skeptical. I am surprised by the people who are scared to cash the money they deserve. I keep up with who owes me money & it's not often that anyone is handing out free money. When I received the exact owed amount, I knew what the money was for. Hope this helps.

I received a check in the amount of one hundred and seventy two dollars  to the order of a account number with my address from a payment processing center located in hickory North Carolina I called the number but I got nothing what should I do with the check

I also recieved a check from the same as did everyone else.  I am going to deposite it on Tuesday and will up date when it clears.

I receive checks from this payment processing center . I think it's government garnishments ect child support or spousal . I'm thinking this I'm not allowed to ask them or my exes work for any information and he won't give anything valid . So far they cash and seem legitamate

Yes, it is legit. I was about to rip up the check because it looked like a scam and it was for $60 and no company or why I got the money.  I thought if I deposited this check, they would get my info and take money from my debit. I started googling the other info on the check and realized it was from my friend who owed me money and this is how it came to me. It's legit.

You are a liar!  I got that check, deposted it and it bounced. Next day all my money was gone out of my account.  Stop stealing from people, I can't pay my rent, my kids and I will be out on the street fro christmas with no presents.

So your friend wrote you a check but didn't tell you to expect it? And they used a check with no identifying info on it, such as their name? Then how did you magically figure out it was from your friend? What other info was in it that you Googled? And why did you feel you had to post the same thing twice?

I received two checks totaling about $2,000.  This was a total surprise and I called the number on the check.  The payment processing center is totally legitimate and is an online payment center for merchants similar to PayPal.

Because they are checks (a promise to pay based on a suitable bank balance) the checks I received would only be honored if sufficient funds were present in the bank account of the person who used the processing center.  The two checks came from a relative who is currently experiencing some very difficult personal issues.  I do not believe that person has the funds in the bank to pay these checks and I won't attempt to deposit them.

I got a check made out to Com Ed, but from me. It's all backwards.  If i cash it, the money will come from my account to who knows? The account number on the chrck is bogus.  I'll call Com Ed and then shred the check.

If you received the check in the mail, you should take it and the envelope it came in to the post office and have them forward it to the postal inspectors.

I received a check for $1750. Would have loved to keep it excepting it was made out to someone I never heard of. My address..always has been..his check. Called the number and they told me to mail it back. I ran it through the shredder instead..heart breaking...

I saw this incoming call was an 800# at my work phone, so I did not answer it. I do not use my work phone number in connection with any of my personal business. The voicemail message left was from "Troy" of Bank of America. He stated that there was a bill payment to me on behalf of someone I do not know, who is supposedly a mutual customer of the Bank of America. It also referenced a case number. Since I do not even have an account with Bank of America, this is definitely a scam.
