Excuse me, you moron.  I just got a new phone number.  Whoever had that number years ago ran up the debt and, brilliantly, decided to get a new phone number. That's about the only way to make it stop.  I can tell them that I never heard of the guy they're looking for but do they believe that? I'm guessing you would NEVER believe that.

But I have to do all the work to document the harassment, from dozens of different numbers, and figure out the next frustrating step.   I'm gonna get a new number .

And you knew about this number how?  Guessing you didn't pay yours either. In my case I have a brand new cell phone number and keep getting calls from the person who had the number before me.  Everything from doctors appointments, friends and family and yes even bill collectors.  I have taken to seeing who is calling before I answer these days.

Phone calls are literally a companies ONLY recourse if you don't pay. That is really not that exteme. Come on! They used to put people in debtors prison. Your excuses for not paying bills are irrelevant. Then you think the gov't should take away the ONE recourse they have?? Why would people even pay bills? Maybe it isn't fair your credit is effected either?? Gimmie a break. I'm in debt too...but at least I realize it's MY fault, not theirs.

Just called Morgan and Morgan about these idiots. Come to find out our great lawyer driven lobbyist paid politicians wrote the law that the $1500 fine against these worthless dirt bags only pertains to cell phones. Gee, what about land lines you POS's. Yes, a land line is a PHONE too. We got idiots calling us and idiots running this country.

That's twice today. To correct/explain the previous post, you can only collect $1500 per call from these worthless POS if they call you cell phone. Land lines don't count for some stupid reason. I would be worth millions by now.

Third time I said screw it and answered it and this is what I got. If this is Shara .... press 1, if not press 2. No Shara lives here so I pressed 2. A middle eastern idiot came on and started talking to me like I was Shara....lmao. Guess they get with too many goats and can't tell a man's voice over a women's. Told the idiot no Shara here and remove my number off their phone list. Let's see what happens next......
