They've called me twice in the past week. I answered today, and when I said, "Hello," I was immediately greeted with an automated, "This call may be recorded" message. The woman had my correct last name, but completely butchered how to pronounce my first name, which is a pretty common name. When I asked her to repeat it, she still mispronounced it. If you can't even say my name right, I know you're trying to scam me.

.... said the loser that gets his jollies belittling those that are less financially fortunate than others.  Trolls do this [***] in an attempt to make themselves feel worthy.  You're still a POS. Go get a real job.

Since you might have a job and can pay all your bills without missing a beat, come to my house and I will give you 100, 000 dollars of back debt because nobody wants a truck driver thats been out of work for 6 years and still has all his credentials to prove he can still work, and I am 56 years old. So watch it with the loser comment smart ass. Not everyone is as rich as you unless your having mommy and daddy pay everything.

Using the information CWG40 has provided:

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/
    http://www.consumeradvocates.org/find-an-atto ... tates_value=All

Everything else you need to know follows including at least two agencies where you should report their criminal activities.

Read up on your rights here and also make a complaint at this government site:  http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

Might I suggest that instead of wasting your time and effort replying to a poster from 6 years ago that will never see your reply, you use that time and effort to read past the first couple of posts and make your way to the ones that are really helpful and tell you what to do, and how to do it?
