Scammer Debt Collector bottom feeders.  Keep leaving threatening phone messages that they will have me arrested at my job if I dont pay them the money.  I have informed them once that in the United States we 1. Speak English 2.  Have to actually go to court to collect any monies I may owe you.  3.  Because debt is a civil matter there is no "arrest" involved.  Then of course I also inform them that I have had no debt ever in my life and they are to cease and desist....thank god its a magic jack so I actually do not have to ever answer!  asshat thieving scam artists!!

Was left a computer voice message saying that Bradbury Management Group had "successfully negotiated a 50% reduction in the settlement of your file number ####." It is very possible I owe someone money, should probably call them back, but they better send me something it writing that I can research, why to many phone scams out there.

It's actually against the FDCPA for them to threaten legal action against you when they have no intent. (ie: stating that they are from an attorney's office, threatening arrest, etc)

If you can find out the real name of the company calling, you can likely file a lawsuit.

I received several calls from someone who didn't say who he was with, but if I don't contact him, he is going to come to my house with local law enforcement. I didn't hear anything for about a week or two. I received a call today from an automated system stating that this is Wedberry (sp?) management group for loss mitigation. It was stated that if I don't contact them they are going to recommend action to their client without my statement with or without my statement. My understanding is that loss mitigation has to do with home ownership; I've never owned a house. ???

Real legal servers do not call you in advance, they just show up. And LE certainly isn't involved either. You can not be arrested for owing a debt, its a civil matter. They have better things to do then show up with a so called server also.  Demand they send a debt validation according to the FDCPA laws.

I keep getting this call too, especially at my job now because I've blocked them from my phone (but they keep bouncing off different #'s).  I've contacted the local FBI office and they told me not to give out information, don't explain yourself or any situations.  Tell them you are recording the message from them for the FBI and if they don't hang up let them say their spill and then you hang up.  If it becomes too threatening or they are constantly calling your work, tell your boss, and contact the FBI!  There are over 900 of these numbers so it's hard to track, but the FBI is working on it.  My lawyer said they get your information if you have filed a bankruptcy or have low credit scores because it's public record!  I find this offensive also - we are told not to give out our information on the computer, but people can look us up and harass us!!!!!!!!!!

Do NOT do it ... it is a scam.  A lady at work did it.. ran out and paid $1900.00 and did NOT get anything in return and when she went to check on this ... she couldn't get her money back either.  I've talked with the FBI regarding this ... it IS a SCAM!

Nice post Beth! The other thing people can do to help protect themselves and their familys is to google their names and their phone numbers. Anyplace such as Spokeo that shows up, make them remove it! If they have FB accounts, make sure they are on private! :)

    Ledbury is a Fraud
Do not pay this company a dime they first have someone call you from a private number with a message you are going to be served and to call the Clients rep back, you call them back and its the same company claiming to serve you. Its a joke. No one is going to pre tell you that they will serve you and not anybody can just serve you. Do not fall for this. Do not give them your information. Anybody can call you and scare you into paying them, that is how these companies survive. Do your research before giving anyone anything, you are just giving them access to rob you blind.

I have receive the same calls, first one showed up as no ID and it was a guy informing me of a case number and that I would be served if I didn't call a certain number regarding the claim...I called the number they gave me for "ledbury management group" and they said nothing about it being a call to collect a debt and that it would be recorded which is usually what you hear.  That was my first red flag, then all they told me was that a court case was filed against me in my county for an unpaid payday loan from 4 years ago....if you know anything about how payday loans work, which unfortunately I do, if they don't get their money they call your references, which never happened.  That was my second red flag...needless to say they never showed up at my house or work to serve papers like they says they would.  I googled ledbury management group and found their website which looked very suspicious.  The pictures they have of their "employees" look like pictures from an advertisement.  DO NOT give them any money or information....IT IS A SCAM!

I recieved calls/ messages from them several times and even called my mother stating that someone is coming to my house and place of employment to serve me some papers to appear in court and so when they called again. I officially answered the call and it was a woman and she didn't give me her name she just stated that someone is coming to my home the next day to serve me papers between 1pm-5pm and that I needed to be home in which I told her that I was going to home. I stayed home all day to recieve these papers and no one showed up.Then I started getting these automated messeages stating that my file # is ------ since I failed to return their call back. They are going to proceed with or without my statment and I need to call them back at 877-957-4822 and i get phone calls from 855-765-9662

I kept getting blocked call from a Bill Davenport calming to serve legal papers at my house  or employment and to call the claimant at 855-502-3806. I called the number asked for prrof of debt and never received it. The Bill guy call again and I called thee number again asking for proof and all they email is a letter basically stating what they told me over the phone, no proof that I took out a loan. I asked for a website it wouldn't come up and they I asked for an address and was given a PO Box 675,  Buffalo NY, claiming  they couldn't give me a physical address

This company has stolen MILLIONS from consumers for the better part of a decade. They are a booming business, growing by the day. They stay under the radar by changing names to prevent REAL legal consequences. They have more than sixty collectors making hundreds of illegal calls daily.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID THIS COMPANY:

Contact your bank and request a chargeback IMMEDIATELY. There is only a limited period of time in which you can successfully get your money back. If you've set up payments with them, call them, tell them you no longer wish to pay and they will take you off file. CALL YOUR BANK. Request a chargeback of ALL payments made up to that point.

They are supplied accounts by NATIONAL CREDIT ADJUSTERS in Kansas. NCA is well aware of the tactics Jimmy's agency use. They don't care as long as they get their checks.

So, CALL NATIONAL CREDIT ADJUSTERS. Tell them you know your payday loan account was supplied to a fraudulent company and REPORT THEM AS WELL.
