i've been  receiving calls from these ppl for a couple months now, i finnaly had enough and called the number back.  when someone finally came on the line i told them that i've been recieving these calls for months now and i want them to stop... low and behold she asked for my  number to remove me from "the list".  MOST DEFINATELY A SCAM!  

NEVER GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO!  if they call and u answer you get their name, the company, a contact number then hang up.  contact your phone company to report the scam and keep record of when they call.  if u dont know your current debt.status, check.  reserch the legalities reguarding debt collections, there are laws and regulations they have to follow in order to collect any money from anyone!  knowledge is power, PROTECT YOURSELF!

Hey all, this company is FDR I had a company that was defrauded(now in court to recover my money) these guys started calling about a year ago they don't let up, I just dont answer and delete the calls, for your info tho in Ontario after two years if the creditor dosnt take you to court they will pass on to collections, they have screwed your credit all ready so, that's all they can do, all those threats are worthless since they will have missed the two year time limit, its the law!! I have spent many sleepless nights terrified they would hunt me down jail me, take stuff when in fact all they can do is call and bug you, after 7 years its off your credit and on to a write off, sometimes they will send it to a 10th party to collect but again phone calls is all they can do, FDA is bad for threats, if they have the account most times its past two years and creditor has wrote it off, big hint, tell them that your disputing claim and with the original creditor and don't call anymore, if they do its harassment...I hate those collection people as much as lawyers..lololo

They are so annoying! They called me with the wrong name!

They called 20 times and in the middle of the night,

Dont bother calling them back, go straight to the police to do an complaint.

I received a call from 855-771-6020 and when I answered there was a pause then a man came on the line.  When I asked how I could help him, he hung up.  I called the number back and there was a message with the company name, address, and fax number.  Financial Debt Recovery in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada.  Fax#905-771-6005.  I hope this helps someone.

Just heard the message on my phone. I panicked at first until I found this site. I am going to ignore the calls. If you do a review on the company 'Financial Debt Recovery' you will not find good reviews. If they call again, I am going to contact the police

I got a voicemail today from this number, saying something like "This message is strictly for (beep), regarding file ######in regards to a non-compliance issue and a breach of an agreement in my office. I have been granted 72 hours to disclose all relevant information to you. Unfortunately if I fail to receive a return call from you, this will be deemed a non-priotiy on your part and a decision will be rendered on the matter wihtout your inpupt. 1-855-771-6020-an agent is here to help you. SO not calling that number..lol!

I just got this call from this number. saying I have 72 hours before they take legal again.
Found out they are bottom feeders. trying to dig up old past debt.
after 7 years an old debt is wiped away. if you agree to this then the whole process of collecting this debt starts again. Do not agree to anything. do not answer the call.

They gave me file 1652214. Im in Canada, so that whole Wells Fargo debt thing wouldn't at all float up here!

I've recieved 2 calls from this number. My phone number is also new. I did recieve an intimidating message with a case and file number. No real information was provided on what it was about though.

These people have been calling nearly everyday ,sometimes twice a day for months with the same messages everyone is reporting..they have also said they would send me mail but of course didnt...Is there any way to report them as harrassers and get them to quit calling?

This company has been hassling me for over 2 weeks now, but what's strikes me odd is - when I actually do answer - it hangs up - and when I don't answer - a voice mail is left.  It's clear that this phishing scam.
