- Amanda| 2 repliesDid you receive a call about calling this number? Apparently when I receive my papers I am supposed to let them know. Scam
- dont fall for it replies to Amanda| 1 replyIt is a lie lie lie do not fall for this they will take you for everything you have they are a 3rd party debt collection agency
- amsCalled them back, they stated I have charges pending against me and a court date scheduled for next week. They say I owe money for something that I paid off over 2 years ago and have a paid in full letter for. They asked that I email them the letter to admin@wwrecoveryinc.com. Which I am not sending so they can harass me over email too.

- jazzman replies to dont fall for iti have been receiving calls from this number and I have not called them back. I figured it was a scam. they are threatening to contact my job, in which how do they know where I work.
- Not my billCalled them back. They stated I have charges pending against me and a court date scheduled for next week. They say I owe money. But they used my first name, and my deceased fiancé's last name when they called my job. I said no one here by that name. If it's Recovery Inc, I had a car contract for $21k in 2006. I have my principal & interest stmt that I paid out on this car. Then layed off/company sold in recession. Because they had me $6k upside down on it when I drove it off the lot, I couldn't sell it, trade it or give it away. When I got a new job 14 mths later, they refused to renegotiate the $5k owed, so I bought myself another car, had theirs detailed and voluntarily repo'd it back to the dealership where I bought it, with new tires and new battery & keys. I made them sign a receipt. The office mgr, a friend of mine, said 75% of those contracts brought their cars back, which broke the dealership and it was sold.
They sold it at the auction for $3700, which meant that they had now received $24k for a contract that was only for $21k. I do not owe them anything. Now they show me on my Experian as having paid two car paymts in Oct & Nov 2014, for this car that I had voluntarily repo'd in 2009. And they keep moving up the First Date Delinquent on my credit report to try & keep it on there longer than the 7 yrs. I should probably sue them for false reporting - this goes against Federal credit reporting laws.- Caller: unknown. Recovery Inc ?

- SteveThat's funny. They called my wife about an hour ago at her workplace asking if she wished to be served at work now or tomorrow. Gave the name of Atlantic Coast Recovery and this number. Called from "Private". Claimed my wife at a court date and all.
NO PROCESS SERVERS CALL TO SCHEDULE DELIVERY OF DOCUMENTS.
Name the agent gave her was Jessica Knox. Boy does that name sound familiar.- Caller: Atlantic Coast Recovery
- Call type: Debt collector
- The Black KnightHad a Jessica Knox call my work. Her number was marked as private also. Told me I was due in court mid part of this month. Said she had a server with law enforcement ready to serve me in a half hour and she was calling to schedule being served. Gave me a case number and told me to call this number or be served and she would call back in a half hour.
I called the local county court and inquired about any court date involving myself. They were puzzled as my name did not come up at all on their records for impending cases scheduled. They recommended that I contact the local law enforcement and report the call with our states Attorney General. Done.
I also looked up Atlantic Coast Recovery and found no such entity however there are multiple reports of a Jessica Knox calling for multiple zombie debt/fraudulent companies over the last year.
SCAM! Nothing like a fraudulent call in an attempt to extort money.- Caller: Atlantic Coast Recovery/World Wide Recovery

- V replies to TheHolyHandGrenade| 1 replyYou can add "mark anthony" to that list. Call and left me voice-mail. Then called my step mom who I just happen to call on Mother's day asking me. I think they hack phones and get family numbers.
- TheHolyHandGrenade replies to VDoubtful they hack phones.. They use the same contact sites others use. Linkedin, White Pages, Spokeo, all typical people search engines that list everyone and their relatives. Then they call and pose as a legal locator, process server or what not and make threats. Scum of the earth.
Always be aware that anyone they call, who may give any bit of info, it's noted and when the "firm" sells the database / book of consumers filled with sensitive information, the cycle continues. - TheHolyHandGrenade replies to Katherine AntunezThey say they're processors, but processors don't call ahead of time and give one a "last chance" to pay up. Processors have no ties to a company. They are hired to deliver and that's it.
Couriers don't call ahead of time and give someone a "last chance" to pay up either. - PrakashMy greedy friend referred this comcast for his $150 referral fee.Got the call from Comcast - 8558234423 and the person call Ross Taylor and they told about the deal - $420/ Year subscription. I got the email from the domain @mail.com, I told this is not trustable send from your office email id from loyalty.corporate@comcast.net. I further questioned like, I need someone from Cinicinnati bell needs to confirm and I got the call from Cincinnati bell customer service number. Then I trusted and transferred $420. After few three days, my service was disconnected. I called him again, he asked me to transfer $258.00 and transferred it twice. After 4 days, he called me again and said your service will disconnect to avoid that you have to transfer another $420. Later, I realised it's a SCAM.
Please avoid email from loyalty.corporate@comcast.net and from the phone 855 823-4423.- Caller: Comcasr
