Hi I got a call from a Gregory Wilson on Jan 8, 2017, talking about an HSBC account with my husband and he was going to court, had all the information, address last 4 of ss# and set up two 50.00 payments then one bigger payment, and got the signature pages, am now changing bank information, looks like they will get one payment.

I would file a dispute with that payment when you go to the bank.  Take the time to read the posts in this thread about what to do and how debt collection is supposed to work.  Once you pay these crooks without making them follow the law, you are considered an easy mark and they will try again and again, not to mention selling your name to other crooks.  ©

OMG! I just gave that Gregory Wilson guy a pymnt for $100 2 days ago!!!  He claimed to have had my HSBC info as well. I should've known. I'm currently cleaning my credit, and it wasn't on my credit. This accnt is 7+ years old. Now my credit card company I made the pymnt with advised I will have to get my money back from them. How amd I going to get my money back from a scam artist?!?!

I got a call from Westpoint Group telling me I owed a 15 year old hospital bill.  They threatened to sue, garnish my wages if I didn't settle with them within 2 hours.  I contacted my attorney and she told me to file a complaint with Consumer financial protection bureau.  I did, still waiting to hear the results.  The attorney's were Roberts & Associates, Mike 323-694-0241

The guy I talked to was named Mike.  I was also told I was being sued for a hospital bill that was back in 2001. My lawyer told me to file a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.  They are checking into this and will let me know of their outcome.

I got the a call saying I had two hours to set up a payment plan for a hospital bill from 2001.  I fell for it but thankfully for just one month, I contacted my lawyer and she advised me to cancel my Credit card and report them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

I  just want to know did west point group had any of your personal information???because they sure had mines. Bleeping scammers

These are all DBA or fake names.

This company is 100% fraudulent... Kim Burns is the Owner and she is will try to intimidate you with giving you info on yourself that is just public record that can be found online. Even if she knows your SSN# or even the last 4 #'s don't fall for her illegal tactics. She may even know your drivers license number. Make sure to remind them that reading your personal info over the phone is illegal. These people are not the smartest and to be honest they are quite dumb.. lol - To give you one example, they stole their logo from a company called WG security http://www.wgspi.com/ - who has been informed and is filing a lawsuit against them

Kim will try to use illegal tactics to get you to give them your information. If you are reading this, I hope you haven't paid them any money yet and If you have, you should file a fraud report with your bank or credit card right away. They don't own the dept they are trying to collect from you. They misrepresent themselves as the dept owner with the hope you will send them money. They called me while I was at work and against my better judgment I ended up paying them $250.00. Afterwards I started doing research and discovered they are a complete fraud. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the AG of Californian and I was able to get reimbursed $250.00 from my credit card company immediately. All I can say is please do your due diligence on WPG before you pay them anything. I got very lucky, and I hope these scumbags get held accountable for their actions.
