Recieved a call. Says they have documents in their office and since I spoke with an agent that they placed my account on hold until I reach their office. If no contact made them proceeding with these documents will take place and the local jurisdiction. I havent spoke with anyone. Total B.S.

Called with the same bs. 6.19.18. Told them I know it's a scam and he said it's not, asked for them to remove my number from The system he said no they will keep calling.

Just got this same message on my voicemail.  I get about 3 or 4 of these scam calls a day, including from bogus debt collectors trying to collect on nonexistent payday loans!  I used to report all of them to the FCC, but nothing is ever done about them, as they can never be found.  They operate out of warehouse in India or Pakistan and sit at long desks with multiple phones and spoof numbers all day!  and yes, if you were going to be served legal papers to your home or work, they would never call you and give you a heads up!

You are exactly right. I returned the call and only gave first name, confirmed nothing else!! The woman on other end immediately started in on me owing a debt and I will have a court date if don’t pay, etc...  I informed that not only was the message left me a federal offense but what she was doing was as well... apparently I’m a “professional debtor”. Lmao

Received from 256-860-1995 with the same spill about serving papers. It was Josie Watts. I’m in Alabama. This time it was for my husband,  get them all the time, same spill, sometimes for me, sometimes my husband.

recvd phone message from jossie watts stating that she was calling to inform me that I was going to be served w papers however, if I wanted to call 855 8694698. org. call came from 407 842 8289... per attorney general office in state of fl no one calls ahead of time to let u know that you are going to be served... used my incorrect name... contacted attorney this is a scam... don't fall for it....thanks

Ironic.. These are criminal firms who have either purchased a book or data files of a hacked business or another low life boiler room scammer with detailed information for cents on the dollar and are calling in an attempt to scam money from you for a zombie/non-existing debt. Yet they call you a "professional debtor"?

Unfortunately, because you called them back, expect more calls from the same types of scammers. Many of these scammers use other entity names and when their well runs dry they too will sell off their book/database of info to the next group of scambags.

They have called me numerous times leaving the message others have described. Sounds like a foreigner. The number called from always identifies as unknown.

Holy crap! I just got a call from the same number and this Ms Watts was threatening to serve papers at my work and home. I have medical debit I assumed from my desceased mom so I do get calls on that often but this lady said it was her 4th attempt. I don't recall a first attempt. How can I prevent further calls? Thanks everyone!

Got a call from the same # 1-855-869-4698 called back and tried to tell them they are calling my work and I never heard of the place they are saying is suing. She hung up and I called back, she said if you are not calling to pay your bill good bye.

She told me they had tried to serve at home and work and I was like really. She would not let me talk and when I asked for a supervisor she put another agent on the line.

Oh shoot I should never have called back, won't anymore.

I never answer my phone anymore, but I do take messages.  Yep, this one left a message.  From a "robot".  Jose Watts says I'll be served papers at my home and employment.  Oh yea, my "name" was "inserted" into this message with a slightly different voice, so this is all from machinery that makes thousands of calls per minute.  My employment?  Wish they'd tell me what it was 'cuz I didn't even know I was employed!   My last employment is now an empty office building!   Haha, they're going to waste their money chasing ghosts??

Says they tried to serve me and are forwarding to my jurisdiction unless I press 1 or call 855-869-4698.
