- Ats replies to SaraHope this will help. I have been receiving these calls for (3) three-years. It's a total scam. They are willing to settle your, 'process,' for you or pay the amount that some shell-company that doesn't exist, or they will serve you papers at your home or work.
This is what I believe happened. The callers were sold or data-mined the net, collect the information details from something that you signed up for online, for maybe a decade ago, that either has folded or sold their info to another site. Then they create this mythological scenario about how you owe money and they sent the documents to your home address but because you have not replied to the, 'paperwork,' they are going to serve you papers. I asked them to provide the documents or any form of proof, and their response is that it was mailed to me, that I already have the information, which I don't, and they will not provide the,'paperwork,' and now I have missed the opportunity to resolve the issue. They will threaten to call my office and speak with my supervisor, and have my boss guilt me into paying the sum that they claim I owe.
They did call my office on several occasions, but I intercepted the call and informed that it's against the law for a collection agency to call into a place of work after being told they are not permitted to call again. I would suggest if you continue to get these calls, to let your employer know in case their call makes it to your employer's desk. They haven't since but continue to call me at least once a week with the same message.
They do not know the law as much as they want you to believe. Their threats are strong and almost believable but in truth, they are hollow and undeserving.
Moving forward, I would just keep blocking the numbers that they use to mask their true number. Shady as shady gets. Ignore and move on because these people are prying on those who would be scared of the thought of dealing with getting served or their employer getting a call from them. I'm going to go after them legally and hopefully put a dent into their organization. Thank you. - GThis one has called from 3 different numbers, Another Scam.

- Syck & TyrdReceived a vm from an "unknown" number. "This message is solely intended for (Name). Once again this is Josea DelRio (?). I attempted to serve you at your residence and your place of employment to gain your signature in regards to this legal document. However, I was unsuccessful in doing so. Now I’m obligated to render these documents as a direct refusal to sign. At this point the process will continue without you. If you wish to discuss any and all proceedings, press 1 to be directly connected to a representative, or contact the filing party at 888-481-7323."
