I work for a Florida Sheriff's Office fraud and scam hotline. I attempted to call these people and identified myself and I was looking into a complaint and was put on hold and that was it. I guess they didn't want to talk to me.  I would stay far and away from these people.

    NOT happy
Got the same letter today from dear Dana Kline.  Went to the US Airlines site to look up the name to see if she is indeed vice president.    UGH!!  Glad it's not just me.

Got the same letter today- interesting that most of you have posted that the letter claims to be from "US Airways," when it's actually "US Airlines."  Glad you all could see through it, but it still goes to show that we're all right on the edge of being snookered.  It's also interesting that the letter is printed on perforated paper (look on the left and right edges) and we were all part of thew same big roll of paper at some point.

    hey you!
It worked to some extent as most of those posting here are claiming false use of logos and how can that be done? If you look close enough, it actually reads "US Airlines", not "Airways". No such airline.....moral still is dont be fooled!

Today I received this same bogus letter from US Airlines.  Since I don't answer calls from any "800" numbers, they've resorted to using the US Postal Service.  Get a real job, for heaven's sake!

Okay people, 1 I too received this letter, It if from US AIRLINES not US Airways and does not have the same font or logo as the real airline. This is a collections company, they have bought a debt you owe from someone? They are like third or lower tier of trying to collect from you debt owed to a previous lender.  The code at the bottom is your account number to their records. If you contact them they will attempt to collect from you, and will then use other tactics to pursue (piss you off). So contacting the BBB, or local law enforcement will not help you and will only allow the company to know they have made contact with a debtor.

I received the same letter also.  I believe they get your name and address from voter registrations since that is the only place that has my full name with the address they used.

Got the same letter today - looked bogus, sounded bogus, is bogus! Was curious if their phone number was tied to a company to report; no way was I going to call it! You all have done a masterful job in confirming this scam. Thanks!

Got the same message.  Looked official but smells of rip off.  I wish someone could scam them.  Sad, but some people will fall for this.
