- kraig| 6 repliesReceived a call today from this number. Left a message stating "we are Lens Crafters, calling to set up your annual eye exam."
- Caller: lens crafters
- Call type: Event reminder
- MikeYes, it's Lenscrafters. You give them your phone number to call you when your glasses are ready, then they use it forever to harrass you.
- Caller: Lenscrafters
- Call type: Telemarketer
- CarlosAngela, from Lens Crafters. Trying to set up my annual appointment.

- Next up| 4 repliesThey need to lose my number, Lenscrapsters SUCKS! They ruined me with stuff I did not really need, and I paid them big buck$ to do it. Friggin scam, quackster, [***].
- Lynne replies to Next up| 3 repliesI totally agree with you and can't believe they have the nerve to call to set up another appointment after the trouble they put me through last time. They've already sent me 2 reminder cards in the mail and now they are going to wear out my cell phone!
- BDWGot a call from Lenscrafters today to set up an appointment. No thanks.....
- Caller: Lenscratchers

- KenpastorI received a call from this number looking for someone else! i have never dealt with LensCrafters so I hope they do not keep calling. It was on my cell phone not my landline.
- How to get them back replies to kraig| 1 replyThis is how I got my revenge with reasonable success. At least, I had some fun with LensCraftster and Sirius radio.
This is what I did. I called the real store back and asked them why they called me. At first, they were stunned because I sounded friendly. It then took a minute or two for the person to figure out I was pissed at their marketing phone call. What is interesting is that, after my call to Sirius' advertised number (from the Philippines), the harassing marketing call soon stopped the next day. I never got any from them anymore.
If every marketing-call victim calls back to the original company's listed business number (not back to the marketing source), this would harass them back to death. At the least, the staff from Sirius and Lenscrafters all sounded so frustrated. - consumer replies to Lynne| 1 replyI just got the same call. Granted, I've been quite pleased with LensCrafters so far, they've never done me wrong. And, at my age (I'm 59 and diabetic), it's good to get yearly checkups. However, I'm quite OK with them sending me "reminder" cards in the mail but I'm not OK with them calling me on my cell phone because that costs me money/minutes. So if you don't want 'em calling your cell phone, just block their number. Well, at least on my iPhone that's easy to do. I don't know about your cell phone.
- JasonAt least they left a message. How can I setup my next LensCrafter's appointment when I've never used LensCraters in my life? I guess it could be whoever had my phone number before me used them but at least my phone lets me block the number. The really annoying part was that they called back within less than a minute before I even had a chance to listen to the first message they left. LensCrafters seems a little forward...
- Caller: LensCrafters
- bozo mcgeejust don't answer calls from unknown callers and then block them...duh
- Michael C| 2 repliesIf you got glasses from them before, then it is not a telemarketing call it is a courtesy call for an annual eye exam. You are supposed to get an eye exam once a year if you wear glasses. I was not happy with Lens Crafters all that much so I simply called them and told them I have found another source to get my glasses. I have not heard from them since.
If you have never visited a Lens Crafters and they call you, then that is telemarketing, and if you are on the Do Not Call list they can be fined for this intrusion.- Call type: Event reminder
- DLL replies to Michael C| 1 replyA little misinformation here. If you originally initiate the business transaction, said business is exempt from the Do Not Call language and is allowed to call you.
- ForrestYes, this is LensCrafters. I did not give them permission to market to me, but I did get glasses from them. I have an iPhone, so I just blocked the caller. Thing is, as I understand, the optometrist that works out of their branches is actually a separate business operating within their retail space. If that's the case, they are effectively marketing for another entity with which I have no business relationship, which is all sorts of wrong.

- ReginaI thought this would be another debt collector number (not that I have debts but am getting harassed from bottom-feeders using really old info). I have gotten glasses from Lenscrafters, but this is the first time they have called me.
They send me coupons via snail mail though, which I don't use because they expire too soon.
Called around 4:30 pm when I was on another & important call. They "beeped in" via Call Waiting, which I ignored since it was a toll free number. Those are always unwanted callers.
The ID said "Toll Free Call", not Lenscrafters.- Caller: Lencrafters
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Bill YoungThese azz-holes called me at The Tea Cup in Taylorsville, KY. I was busy making baking some Marijuana Cookies for a customer and had to stop to answer this stupid 'old lady' wanting to set up eye exam !
Call Blocked the suckers...- Caller: Lens Crafters

- angrylenscrafters ... they are lousy!!!
- Dee replies to consumerConsumer, yearly checkups with an optometrist are worthless. I went to an ophthalmologist, and he told me I had the beginning of cataracts. When I then got the Lenscrafter exam, they said my eyes were in great shape and they didn't see anything wrong.
- EdCalled and then HUNG UP!! It was Lenscrafters though; I called them back and told them to take me off their list. The folks who talked about the poor quality, how true! I had some glasses done by them that were just completely wrong.
- Caller: Lenscrafters
- DonlinThe number called my cell phone. I understand telemarketers are not supposed to call cell phones and I did not answer the call. I do not answer incoming calls unless I recognize the number, which would be rare since I have given out the number to fewer than 4 persons. If the caller is Lens Crafters I have never done business with them.
