Lenscrafters calling to reschedule my annual appointment because I cancelled the one I had set up (which I didn't remember making btw).  Not a scam, they just wanted to keep my business, however I'm probably going somewhere cheaper this year.

Message from Lens Crafters.

They left a message, but spoke so fast I could not understand. Had to run it 3 times to get the phone number. Google it and this responded.

They remade my glasses 3 times and finally had to refund my money because they couldn't get them right. Never going back. Thank you.

I went online and told them not to contact me but they called anyway. DEFINITELY wouldn't do business with anyone who operates like that!

The caller ID said "unknown". Called at 5:39pm on Oct 26th 2016 and left no message.

It was a reminder call from Lens Crafters. My husband and I were in for our annual exam in Nov 2016.  I've gotten multiple emails, a voice mail today and a card in the mail that gave me a January 2017 appointment date/time that I needed to call and confirm.  I called my local store and was told this all comes from corporate. Her records show my visit in Nov 2016 and apparently she is unable to stop the barrage of appointment requests. My guess is this is happening because I didn't purchase a pair of glasses. Just got the exam.  Beating me up to force me to come back in isn't going to force me to come back in. If anything, its going to encourage me to go somewhere else in 2017 for my annual exam.

I received 3 phone calls from Lenscrafter in 3 days... I called the number back after I called the optometrist who is in Lenscrafter.. the
Dr.'s office apologized for the call not knowing they called me.. especially since I already made my appt with them.. I then called back the number and asked to be taken off the list.. I informed them I made my appt with the Dr.s office and found their calls to be intrusive and insulting that I am old enough to know when I need to go in.,, and just because I like the doctor does not mean I am purchasing glasses from Lenscrafter.. and then said due to the calls it is unlikely I will go to Lenscrafter for new glasses.. they were apologetic and took my name off the list

The guy that left the message talked so damn fast I couldn't understand a word he said. Once I came here and saw Lenscrafters, I was at least able to decipher that.

Strange     I received a call from this number 855 883 1688  but the individual gave a call back of diff number and extension and different company name (not lenscrafters)  Wanted to verify employment of individual .gave his name and reference number. Are companies calling under other companies phone #??

Setting up my "annual eye exam if you haven't done so already...." I haven't done so. As far as "irritating calls" go, this one is pretty mild.

I needed new contacts so had an appointment with them a year ago for that purpose so now they're calling to get my annual checkup. I see my opthalmologist every three years, LensCrafters is just for in between "get new contacts" type appointments. They have the right to call but, as others have noted, I'd contact them if I wanted an appointment.

Got the call from (855) 833-1688, the LensCrafter 3rd party "time to set-up your annual appointment" call.  I did like a read in another blog and called my local LC store.  I didn't complain but said I would have preferred a call directly from them, rather than a third-party 855 exchange.  Without hesitation, they offered to take my name off the LensCrafter call list.  I thanked them.
More people should do this same thing, and let LensCrafter know while they think they have a cool re-marketing gimmick, it's really a very bothersome and "un-customer" centric program.
