I just got a call on my cell: 855-956-0445 saying my credit card was on hold this was from Master World Account.
My intuition said this was a prank…So I decided to look it up. I have no desire to call bank. I only have debit cards No credit cards.

Same call here.  Very poor quality audio made me instantly suspicious.  I would hope my bank could afford a better robocalling system than that!

I Got a msg from 855-956-045 regarding my Barcley card. I don't have such card.

i got a same scam call.  Beware!  Don't punch in the credit card numbers!!

Just got a call from this number asking for credit card # for a card I don't have - as with the other complaints. Someone is just trying to get credit card info to steal.

Just got a call with voice recording about a fraudulent charge for a bank I never heard of and to call this number. I was suspicious so I looked this up. What a bunch of $)/&@ scammers!

Just got a call from 855-956-0445 saying there was fraudulent activity on my Barclay MasterCard.  I don't have such a card, so obviously a mistake or a scam.  Glad I checked this website.

I just got a call and didn't answer just looked up the number. I never answer to numbers I don't know.

I do have a new Barclay card transferred from previous bank.  I went to their site to see if there was anything but saw nothing. I emailed them letting them know about this number to warn other card holders. Hopefully they do.

Got a call on "my" Barclays card as well.  Not only don't I have one, I checked my credit report and no one has taken out a card in my name either.  Total fraud trying to get ID info

Same as many above. Poor call quality about a Barclay's bank card, which I don't have.

Barclay call, my credit score is not good enough for that credit card...

I just got this call too, and I DO have a Barclay MC. As everyone said, you call the number and the number "is not in service."

I just went to Barclay's web site and everything seems fine with my card. I have rec'd fraud alerts in the past and they would pop up when I logged in. No such popup this time....

This is a criminal enterprise incorrectly telling people a hold has been placed on their credit card. Do NOT respond back. They are phishing for personal . I don't even have that card. Unfortunately, my wife called them back a few days earlier and after realizing it was a scam, she had to cancel her real card and get a new one

Scam.  Call supposedly from Barclay MasterCard Services, wants you to key in all your card info to "reactivate" your card.  

I got the same call. Unable to speak to an actual person when I returned the call. Unfortunately I put in MasterCard number. Fingers crossed

Received a ROBOCALL from these fraudsters posing as the Barclaycard World Elite Mastercard Fraud department.  Of course, YOU NEED to enter your card number after pressing 1 - OH SURE - right away!  Since it was a Mastercard, I entered a 16-digit number beginning with a "5" as all Mastercards do.  No matter what I entered, it wouldn't give me a human. There must be a special place in Hell for these morons.

Just got a call saying they were from Barclay Card and my Master Card was compromised.  It was a recorded message telling me to call 855-956-0445 about my account.  I don't have any Master Card or do banking with Barclay.

Just received a similar scam call from this number.  I have no such card.  Beware.

Received phishing call, but on a cellphone I thought I had not linked to my actual Barclaycard account.  
Called Barclay's main customer service number, they confirmed: a) no security hold on any charge I'd recently made, and b) this is a scam caller.

Me too-  one more fakie-  These a$$----- are hitting it Big Time today...  What ticks me off the most is they got my CELL #!!
