I also got a call from this number.  I don't have a Barclay MC or any account but I called anyway out of curiosity.  Got the message that this number is no longer in service.  Just for kicks I called the number they gave to call if you were out of the country - 302-255-8888.  Got the voicemail for someone named George Lansfeld (or something like that - it wasn't too clear).  I didn't bother leaving a message because it's a bogus phone call to begin with and I'm fairly certain that George's voicemail is most likely full by now from other people who received this message.  Not just a scam but a poorly executed one in my opinion.

Got the call on 8/1/2014. Didn't call it back until 8/3 since I don't have a Barclay card. Number was disconnected. Scammers....

Received a v-mail on my cell informing me that my World MasterCard account may have been compromised.  While I do have such an account it isn't with Barclay's.  Called back, and the number given was spoofed.  Called my actual credit card company to find out that no such an alert had been sent.

robo call saying possibly fraudulent activity on my Barclay bank card.  Have received 4 callsl  I don't have a Barclay bank card!!!!!!!!! the number is 855 956 0445

I just called the number given to use if outside the US, it asked for my acct. number or ss#.   Who are these [***]!

number came up. said computer comprised. someone from India picked up.
