Not bothering to call back.  Have received these years ago and they cdnt tell me who the creditor was? They got mad and hung up when I asked of I cd call them back tmrw and say they owed me $2000. But i didnt know who I was collecting for.   Good grief!

This Benson & Associates has been calling my son and my ex-husband for which I have been divorced for almost 30 years leaving messages that I have a civil lawsuit that I need to pay attention and left this phone # 866-516-0058 and case #. Try calling them with a private number for more than 30 times but would not go through.

My husband Just received a call with someone from benson and Associates trying to reach me regarding a legal matter and paperwork that I didnt respond to. If I dont respond legal action would ensue regardless. Then checked my voicemail and I had a message saying the same. Tried to call the number back that called and it was out of service. They used a last name that hadn't been nine for over 7 years. So glad I found this thread! I will NOT be calling back. How in the world did the get my husband's number?? So weird

They did the same thing to me. I was a little unnerved about the fact that they had my social.

I got a call stating we’re going to put a lien against my house and when I tried to find out information they just got angry. Even called my husband’s phone but told him they couldn’t talk to him because I had to call. I called our local courthouse but there is nothing filed.

These "folks" have called me for a year now and they ask for someone who certainly is not me. They will leave a VM, referring to a serious matter and that I need to phone them to take care of it. The message does reference Benson & Associates and the most recent person who called was a female. Prior to that it was a male and once it was a male who identified himself as a law enforcement officer-Scary! Scam artists who have zero consideration for people.

Received a call today telling me that I had a credit card debt from the year 2000 and that a civil lawsuit is pending in my county. they tried to do the regular scare tactics. when I asked for the creditors information, they could not provide it. when I looked up the case with my county court, there was no case there. And of course.. the debt they are referring to does not exist. SCAM...

The caller stated that my mother owed them money. My mother has been dead for 10 years.
