    This number has called me every day for the last month (only on weekdays) at the same time 4:50pm PST. I never answer my personal cell if the number isn't in my phone. This is getting a little out of hand. No message and bordering on harassment.

    Called Time Warners customer service and they agreed it is their automated dialer.  They added me to the "do not contact list"

    Calls everyday, says "California" then it rings about 3 times then they hang up.  If it's Time Warner Cable, then their number should be listed as "Time Warner Cable" don't you think?  That's deceptive to have it be under the name of California.

    Oddly enough, when I called TWC's San Diego office yesterday, and LA office today, neither of them could find this number in their database, and suspect that it might be a vendor of theirs.  They said they would "look into it."

    Same here! I was on hold listening to the same lady repeat her sentence and listening to the classical music as i read the posts on this number for 6 minutes and then a "GOODBYE" at the end. I will get a call at least once a day from this number, if not more. If they call me more than once a day, two calls at least come back to back. its sooo annoying! And it's even more weird because although I live in SD now, I don't have an SD area code! These guys are going out of their way to dial my number.

    This is a number used by a third party auto-dialler that tries to connect to a live operator when you pick up.

    If you do get to speak to somebody, you can ask to be put on the do-not-call list, and they will do that for you. If you don't want to answer, call time warner directly and ask for your number to be added to their list.

    I told the operator I was on the national do not call list, but she reminded me that list has exceptions for companies already have an arrangement with (I am a TWCSD customer). But, she added me to their internal list a few days ago and have not had a call since (I was getting at least one per day).

    My advice, pick up the phone, wait for an operator, and ask them to stop. I'll post back if I ever get another call from this number.

    I'm getting calls from this number 3 times a day, every day, same time of day every single day. Its gotten beyond annoying. I finally answered it today...nothing there, then "it" hung up. I called back, it answers with computer voice,  says "goodbye" and hangs up.  I called Time Warner directly (858-695-3220), talked to rep who said this was the first he heard of it. I told him to google the number and see the hundreds of complaints himself. He did...couldn't believe it.

    He put a "do not call" identifier on my account and said is should be in place within the next few hours. We shall see (I'm not convinced this will do it!) .. He will also let his supervisor know.

    These people are so obnoxious!!!  I've gotten like 16 phone calls from them since having my phone service activated.  So annoying...if its Time Warner, they won't be getting any business from me...EVER.

    Same thing happened to me as most others except I called back and I was on hold with some classical music and about every 15 seconds a recording would come on and say "your call is very important to us, please hold for the next available agent"  I waited because I was curious who was calling me for the second time today without leaving a message, after being on hold for exactly six minutes and five seconds, the voice recording of the lady came on and said "goodbye" and hung up,  cant something be done about this to me this is like a harassing phone call,  who can I make a complaint to?

    I have received a total of 19 calls from this number since Oct 25, 2010.  Calls vary in time, but seem to be around the same time everyday.  Received one call as late as 8:17pm.  No voicemail has EVER been left by this caller.  I have never experienced anything like this as far as telemarketers are concerned.  Seems like from previous posts that Time Warner Cable-San Diego is responsible for this.  I will be making a call to their local office to complain about this harassment.  This is not acceptable by any means.

    Called Time Warner Cable San Diego (858-695-3220) customer service.  I asked to be put on the do not call list internally with the local office.  Rep also told me to register with TWCSD.com under "My Services" and "Voice Zone" to be put on the do not call list within the entire company.  Let's see if this works.  If it doesn't you will be seeing another post from me.

    I get a call from this number at least twice per day. I contacted Time Warner and asked them to place me on their Do Not Call List. I also registered my number on the National Do Not Call Registry.

    This is so annoying!! When I pick up the phone nobody is on the other line. When I try calling back, I just hear what sounds to be a woman's voice saying "bye". If I ever get a live person on the other end then I will place my formal complaint!!

    This number is indeed Time Warner Cable.
    My cellphone was getting hammered from this number for the past couple of weeks.  The first few times, it would hang up as soon as I answered--I figured their auto-dialer failed to connect me to an operator.
    I subsequently resigned myself to automatically declining calls from this number whenever they came in (sometimes 4x a day)...until last night, when I answered, waited, and was finally connected to a TWC operator.
    I *immediately* interrupted the operator's sales pitch and demanded they place me on their do-not-call list.
    We'll see how it goes....
