3rd party distributer from Time Warner.  Simply call 858-459-300 or 800 976-6997 and ask to be removed from their call list.  After lots of searching I found this and it worked fine.

I was missing calls from this number for weeks before I finally decided to pick it up.  They never left a message and would call at all hours of the day.  I tried calling back, but was put on hold.  I finally answered one of their calls- it was Time Warner Cable asking me if my husband was home!  Mind you, they were calling my personal cell phone and then asking for my husband!  It was about some promotion or a bundle or something.  Anyway, I told them to put me on their "do not call list" and the guy said he was sorry, stuttered a bit, and then hung up.

Replying to my own post with an update that the rep putting on the "do not contact" list has done absolutely nothing as I've received 4 calls since I talked to them 2 days ago. I will be calling TWC in the a.m. and will escalate to management.

How did you tie this company to the number we are all getting calls from? BTW- it looks like your 858 numbered solution is one digit short.

Waited and got a recording that it was a telemarketing phone call and that I should call another number if interested. I'm guessing that it might be some kind of toll call at that point.

If you are on the no call list - report it!!!

This number has called at least 3 times every day for the past week. The caller ID just says California. They even call after 8 p,m. It's ridiculous!

i too was getting calls from this number. it is time warner which i found strange because we only have insight cable in my area. after calling the 800 number in the message a few up from this one i found they also handle insight. calling about upgrading services which is useless to mew as insight is still analog in my area. they removed my number a few weeks ago and i have not got another call.

I received a call just now from this number, I answered and was ready to hang up as I kept saying hello, finally someone came on and started off saying "Hi" and I said "Hi" and then they hung up.

Just got a call from this number claiming they were cable company Insight.   Wanted to know what company I was with - told them Insight and they asked how long.  Very strong accented female voice.

Got a call nearly on the hour starting at 1PM until I answered around 6PM  and the call immediately ended. None of the calls left a voice mail.

I called back a few times between then. First I would hear muffled noise, like something was on the other end. Then it clicked off leading into an automated message about the call being unable to be made due to reasons outside of "our control". And then it gave a message number, something like P-1005 (that's not verbatim, but it did start with "p dash").
Twice I immediately called back and received a busy tone.

I am from Kentucky,,,its called me 5 times today and 3 times yesterday. I've answered it 3 times total and each time itll maybe stay on for 15sec the most and then hang up, sometimes just like 5sec. Kind of creeping me out cause i'll be saying hello and then it hangs up.

I got three phone calls in the past few hours.  I called 800 976-6997 and asked for customer service, was transfered to a voicemail.  They called me back shortly after (surprise) and apologized.  He was able to see the phone calls on his autodialer and placed me on the do not call list.  He identified himself as calling on behalf of insight cable for a customer service survey.

I get a call from this number several times a week. No message left. If I answer, the call is disconnected.  When I call it back I get a " your call did not go through" message.

Called twice within an hour but did not answer.  Did not leave a voicemail either.

They have called 4 times to day which is disturbing to me
I call  back   it does not even  ring  this is the second  number the other one is 513 898-8542 same thing with those people

Also called 800 976-6997 to ask that my number is removed from their list.  I got on the list because I called Insight a couple weeks ago in KY.  They were calling 5-6 times a day with no response and no-one on the line.   Will report back if it doesn't work.

I called them back after dozens of times not answering their calls.  They are a company that is contracted through time warner cable offering services to construction companies.  I told her I don't have a construction company and asked her to take both my numbers out of her database.  She said she would.

I HAVE BEEN ON THE NO CALL LIST SINCE IT STARTED!!!

Bring back the laws that governed the wild west and these calls will most likely vanish.
