Said "You took out some payday loans". I asked if there was something they could send me to review. She then wanted to verify my info. So I asked why she released personal information before verifying who I was. I can here the air leave her as she said she was going to have the States Attorney call me. I said Have a great day, and she hung up.

Same thing,  only now using the name Jacob Foster, with Legal Mediation Services, I have a pending case against me filed in his office, and if I or my attorney do not contact him in 24 hours, he will document that I waive my rights to counsel and my case will be submitted and I should govern myself accordingly. Submitted to whom? For what reason? I have no loans outstanding or other debts. I get these types of calls about 4 times a year, nothing ever happens, complete scam. I have documented 3 calls from this same person in the last week, so far, absolutely nothng has happened, and it was supposed to be 24 hours. Scum of the earth is what these people are.

Stupid "Pending Case" people have been bothering me for 6+ months, across many numbers from many states.  Spoke to them a few times where I've given them back some pretty serious and heinous threats which stops the calls for a bit but they keep coming back.   So tired of them.

How can I verify whether or not a debt collector is legitimate?
Here are a few warning signs that could signal a debt collection scam:

The debt collector threatens you. Legitimate debt collectors probably won't claim that they'll have you arrested or claim that they or their employees are law enforcement officers.

The debt collector refuses to give you information about your debt or is trying to collect a debt you do not recognize. You have certain rights to ask a debt collector to verify the debt. You can use this sample letter to request this information. Ask for an explanation in writing before you pay.

The debt collector refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number.

The debt collector asks you for sensitive personal financial information. You should never provide anyone with your personal financial information unless you are sure they're legitimate.
If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:

Ask the caller for his or her name, company, street address, telephone number, and professional license number. Many states require debt collectors to be licensed. Check the information the caller provides you with your state officials, or the state in which the debt collector holds a license. If the caller refuses or is unable to provide you with information about his company, or if you can’t verify the information he provides, do not give money to the caller or company.

Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." This notice must include:
    The amount of the debt
The name of the creditor you owe
A description of certain rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, consider requesting this information in writing or seeking assistance before paying the debt to make sure the debt, and the company, are valid.

Tip: You can consider sending the collector a letter requesting the information by using one of the CFPB's sample letters. You can also submit a complaint to the CFPB or you can contact your state Attorney General’s office.

Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know the company or person you are talking with is a real debt collector. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft such as:
    Charging your existing credit cards
Opening new credit card or checking accounts
    Writing fraudulent checks
Taking out loans in your name

Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate – but you think the collector may not be – contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.

Report the call. Submit a complaint with the CFPB or get in touch with your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers.

Stop speaking with the caller. If nothing else works and you believe the calls are fraudulent, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files.

Tip: You can use this sample letter to write a letter demanding the debt collector stop contacting you. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

Tip: If you're having trouble with debt collection, you can submit a complaint with the CFPB online or by calling (855) 411-CFPB (2372).

I finally answered their call. Same thing with me said they had three felony warrants for payday loans. I never got a payday loan in my life. He had my address, of course name, told me what the last 4 digits of my SS number was where I did my banking  my email address. They couldn't give me any companies names any amount of individual loans. A total of $1,800 plus. Of course wanted me to pay. I kept demanding to talk to the next highest person in charge. They are not allowed to give me any copies to back up the alleged loans. They were just the mediator. I ended the call telling a lady by the name of Traci, they were little bit off their rocket if they thought I was going to hive them access to my accts when they couldn't give me a stitch of proof backing the allegations.  What concerns me is that they have so dang much personal information about me.

I received  a call from 859-904-1028. He told me I had an outstanding  debt that was going to be sent to litigation but could not tell me who the original lender was or what the amount was or when the loan was taken out  just that the loan was sold to them in 2014 and it may have been taken out 2 to 3 years prior. It's a scam!

Read and understand Tamianith's Notes. Warrants are only issued by judges in your locality.  They are only granted to duly constituted law enforcement officers upon proper investigation and application.  They are only served in hand by duly constituted officers of the law.
Debt collectors cannot get warrants and have nothing to do with the criminal justice system.  In any case, being in ordinary civil debt is NOT a crme and you cannot be arrested for it. Ignore and block these calls. Total scam.

The “govern yourself accordingly”   Scam group.

Usually starts off by saying there are 2 “complaints” against you.   Gives you a spiel meant to frighten you into paying them something and then sometimes ends with the stupid phrase “govern yourself accordingly.”  Accuses you of financial crimes .  Sometimes includes threats of arrest. Sometimes they use the phrase  “handle yourself accordingly.”  Sometimes they say they have “warrants”.  Which is  a load of nonsense.

Here's a list of  CIDs they've used over the past 4 years or so according to 800notes.

Here is some fun if you have time and want to play around and have a little revenge on these A$$hats.

    1. sign up for a gmail account and use any name you want.
    2. open an account at pinger.com.

    3. when you open your pinger account - signing in with your fake gmail account - you can select ANY area code to establish your phone number. Select your area code and pick your phone number.

Set up you pinger account, turn off desktop notifications and other notifications also.

I suggest using 859 area code as it is the one being generated by the scam artist calling everyone from 859-904-1028.

after getting your account, then feel free to type a message and then send it to 859-904-1028.

you can even copy & paste it a few times and send, send, send.

Hopefully it ties up their phone for a while or just plain annoys the hell out of them  more than likely they will just change phone numbers again.

previous numbers are 859-904-1025, 859-904-2423.   Also using 859-215-0043 put pinger doest work on this number.

names used Jacob Foster, Phillip Wellington, Elliot Jacobs

Good call blocking apps for Android (ones that I am using)

Youmail - which replaces your carrier voicemail allows you to block calls automatically and also set up personal messages when you block someone.  You can set it to say whatever you like to mr foster and then it will hang up on him.

also using CallBlock ( the app with the padlock with the B in it) and true caller ID.

have a wonderful day and have fun
