- candy replies to kirkI keep getting the same call every two months. I am tired of these people thinking they could get away with it. can anyone stop them?
- no nameCaller said I had two charges against me. I was in traffic so I couldn't hear too well to catch all the message. When I got home I tried to call and a recording said they were busy and to leave a message after the tone. There was no tone just a recording saying the voice recording was full, then nothing. I have no outstanding bills or anything against me.

- AnonymousI have gotten about half a dozen of their calls, how do you get them to stop?
- JenniferThis number has been calling my phone for days now. So I decided to set up "Mr. Number Blocker" app for my cell phone. Just in case they decided to change their number to get around it, I just blocked everyone with an 860 area code. If they use a different area code, I'll block that one too. I'm not putting up with that crap! No one will call you and "warn" you that you have a summons getting read to be issued for your arrest.
- Caller: Processing Division
- PAladyLet me tell you my experience with the scamming scum. I have been getting these harrassing calls for months now, each time blocking - yet of course they change their CID.
So this past Friday, I get a call from a blocked number. I never answer calls I do not know, so VM got it. I listen to it, and it is someone named Steve, saying he is from my local county court clerks "finance" offfice ( no such thing btw) saying that they will be coming to my house between 8-9pm to serve me with two charges, one criminal one civil. At first I was nervous, because they sounded legit and it was not a recording. Then I listened to it again... he referenced the company ACR at the end with an 844 number as the contact. These people are faking calls from your county office to get you to call them.
So I was really angry, and called my county clerk to let them know what happened. She assured me there is no such possibility, since they do NOT contact you before serving you. Kinda defeats the purpose. So I called the 844 number and flipped out. I found out it was a debt that they had from me from over 10 years ago, that was PAID. This jerk on the phone tried to tell me it was impossible I paid it, as it was still on my credit report. Uh nope dude... it sure isn't.
I warned him if he continued to harrass me, I will be filing charges. He was smug and rude.
I told him he needed a new job
these people are relentless and I reported them to Consumer affairs. it could take time for something to happen, but it is exhausting. They need to be charged by MORE PEOPLE REPORTING THEM.
that is the only way this will stop- Caller: ACR
- Call type: Debt collector
- MiltonI too received a phone message onmy cell phone voicemail stating that 2 counts of fraud were "being downloaded on my name and social security" and if I did not respond before a summons was served at my home or places of employment, I would forfeit these rights...yeah right!!! The other thing is that the caller stated she was from the "Process and Summons Division" and fails to give a fake company name too. I will give them credit that THIS time they found someone who speaks clear English to make the telephone call, not someone from Pakistan or India with a thick accent and a really American name like Christopher Smith (smile). I have reported the number to the LAPD as a nuisance telephone call. Also to the County of Los Angeles District Attorney
- Caller: Process and Summons Division
- Jack replies to JackThey are back to their original "two cases of fraud" BS.
