Now companies are going to phone harass the stranger neighbors of people?  What is up with that?  Surely there must be a law against such a thing - especially when I am on a do not call list - anybody know anything about that?

Call to leave message for someone else at another address.

Calling our number all week demanding an urgent callback from a neighbor of ours who we do not know and have no contact with.

PHAT chance.

Called about my inquiry about the Clayton I House a "green" modular home. Told them I wasn't looking to buy just curious about the concept.

No recorded message left. Call not answered as it is unknown to me. I am registered on the "no call list." I have no reason to be receiving a call from this number.

Friendly really who are you an employee of them come to my house and listen to their threats I am tired of paying for my house as I am tired of them harassing me

It is against the law for them to discuss or contact anyone other than you. Report them to your state attorney general office and write them certified and tell them to stop.

I get several calls from this company on a daily, weekly, and even monthly basis, always leaving a message asking for someone who is in no relations to the owner of the house.
I would tell them to stop calling but they continue to do so, its frustrating that we have the "do not call " and still get these phone calls.

They spoof their caller ID to show Clayton Homes. Their deal is to get a neighbor to deliver a message to their default client to contact them. They get your name and number from one of the companies that collect info and so when they run their clients name they get neughbors, fellow workers, relatives, anyone that may be associated with thier client. I work with a answering service for a lot of Dr's and other professional's and I usually get all emotional and tell them that I do know the person they are calling about and just attended their funeral the day before and start telling them about how traggic the accident was.
It may not cause them any more work researching if it is true or not but its fun trying to get an appoligy for calling out of them.

constantly get calls from this number, sometimes they leave a message asking for a particular person and then procedes to leave a message for that person. other times they call, hang up, call back and repeat it over again.
Call them back to speak with someone and walk them through it and they get nasty on their end towards us when we are nicely telling them they have the wrong number and not to call back again.
It never ends with these phone calls.

Calling for Asoociates they are not allowed paersonael phone call should be handle at home. Have asked not to call associates at work my time violate policies

They call want me to tell my neighbor to call Audrey back. They haven't been living there long I don't them that well!!!!!!!I do not want to get involved in anyone's financial problems.

Clayton Homes/Vanderbilt Mortgage called me looking for my neighbors.  How low is that.  Did they look up my address and just call me because I live next door?  That is awful.  These people should be penalized for that.

these peep are major [***].... sorry customer service.... they bill a month in advance and things are hard with only 1 person working... i have told them several times that my hubby signed the loan and i aint on it and dont call me -verbally several times and once written.-- they are soooo nasty... tell me how to pay my bills and told me to call in my payment not send it in the mail cuz the mail was not good enuff.... very rude and nasty csr and supervisor... came home and a "field rep" came up to our yard askin for us and started takin pictures.. and stuff.... then wanted to wait in yard while he called csr to "talk to Me" i aint on the loan..... i already spoke to u dumb nuts stop calling... incessant heathens.... i ams sure there is such a things as harrassment

I wasn't home when someone from this number called my house. My mortgage is not with this company and I owe no debts so I have no idea who or what they were looking for. I have no answering machine so there was no message. After reading other posts about this number I am appalled that the practice is even legal.

We are leasing a home right now and do not have an outstanding mortgage.  They didn't leave a message and we are not close with any of the neighbors.  The called my cell number.  Wish there were a way to stop these degenerates.
