I was also scammed and I am trying to get my refund, but every person I talk to keeps giving me the run around, and different numbers to call. This is ridiculous. Can anybody tell me how I can go about getting my refund?

A1 members charged my bank account 4 different times for a total of $114.39. I can't get anyone to answer my calls!!!!!

I made a phone call to the number just an hour ago. Thanks to you for all your posts. As I waited for the customer service for over 30 minutes I read your posts and prepared my questions, for it made me so upset that I was involved in a fraud.

It has been 2 weeks since my husband ordered a $1 worth CD, so far we haven't seen anything yet. According to this cus. ser. rep it should get here anytime soon. We will see.
But I was told that we will not be charged anything else plus will get a refund for $72.21 within 7-10 business days. I just hope that these next 10 days hopefully go by faster so that I can get my money back without any other surprises.
I will keep you all updated on what happens next.
BWY, I live 30 minutes away from the above address of this company so I am just curious what kind of people do what kind of things at this address by going there right now.

This company charged me 74.18 through my bank, I have no reason for the charges. when I called the phone number all I got was 1 hour hold with no answer. I called my bank and started fraud charges against them, the bank has canceled my card(very important that you cancel your card). I also went here (https://complaint.ic3.gov/ctf.aspx)and filed out a complaint.

You're not going to get squat trying to talk to these punjabs.  "Please hold and don't hang up as this will only extend your wait time."  Yeah, right.  I'm not waiting for an hour for nothing.  I just called my banks fraud department and told them it was an unauthorized charge.  There's actually two of them.  They're stopping the transaction and crediting my money back now.  Don't waste your time calling these [***].  My bank cancelled my card and I'm getting a new one in the mail.  Some pujab is sitting in his multi-colored, dirt floored, aluminum roofed shanty along a river flooded with sewage that's his only place to wash his clothes and drink from, mad at the world for his being impoverished and less fortunate than others in the world.  Maybe karma will re-incarnate his as a something even less fortunate than he is now.  I wonder what the FBI is doing about this.  Jai-ho!!!  How the hell he got internet access is beyond me.

this company does not have anything to do with the other compnay when you call them.  have to call 1-866-200-5473 to get a refund that they never refund to you. this is fraud.

After 5 calls and 2 promises for refunds I finally had to cancel my debit card with the bank.  They do not do as they promise, they did give me a address to "Corporate" most likely a PBM in case anyone wants the address it is 224 S Main #221, Spring View UT 84663. I'm still going to fight for my refund they have taken 73.54 and 38.34 out of my account and I received another e-mail stating they would be taking 38.34 out again on the 28th. Good Luck

I fell for this also and was charged the 72.21 to my Visa on 5/13/09.  When I called the number listed in my transaction post from A1 Member I was told to return the CD and was given an authorization number to return it.  They also told me they would cancel my subscription and no further charges would be made.
Today, 5/26/09 another charge was made to my Visa from them of 24.87 and I still have not received a credit for the 72.21.
I have just contaced my bank and cancelled my Visa card.  After reading the reponses here and seeing another charge from them, I am convinced they are not going to stop making charges to my account unless it is cancelled.  
I was told by my bank to submit a dispute with them for the charges.  I only hope I can recoupe that money, but at least I know they can't make any more charges!

I also had these charges on my debit card. All I did was called my bank and was able to get my money back on the same day.

i just called 1866-951-1406 and they need you to send the disk back to them for a refund. they will give you an auth# and an address to mail it you at your cost for the refund. i am sending mine back today to see if i get a refund or not from them.

I was a victim of A1 Members. There is an open investigation on this matter in Springville , Utah. The name of the investigator is Det. Tipson. I just spoke with the Springville Police Dept. The number there is 8014899421.

I tried calling and the Israeli guy said the database was down so he couldn't pull up my records and to call back in an hour or so.

I'm filing with PayPal (again) and with the IC3 website now.

This happened to us too.  The bank had no clue who this was so I looked it up by the phone number and I saw everyone had commented.  Thank you for putting the comments on the web so others can tell what is going on.

OUr bank shut our cards down and we have to dispute the charge to get our money back.  Please inform everyone you can so this can stop before they scam everyone.

I've actually got an update... I just go through and requested a refund on all of it and the lady didn't even make me send back the CD! I told her I was billed twice and she confirmed it. I should've asked how much I was getting refunded, though...

No one will answer...they leave you on hold for over 20 minutes.

I just called 1-888-247-2155 and the fella who answered told me he is in the Phillipines. I got his name and extention number along with a cancellation number and he told me the refund would appear in my bank account in 7 to 10 days. I did get a call from a company wanting to teach ebay in Utah, but that young man told me that they purchased my information from google blazing keywords and he gave me the number that I called. I was charged $72.21 for that one and then an additional $81.32 from a company called Hot Business Market Pro. When I called their customer service number...I had tried previously on Friday and got no answer...he told me that I was past the 7 day trial and that he would cancel the account, but they wouldn't refund the money because I was past the 7 days, tried to tell me that it was my bank's fault for not doing it on the 17th...that was last Sunday and they know it won't be posted until after the weekend and then this was a holiday so I think that scam worked for them! I told him I had tried since Friday to contact them and he got short with me and hung up on me. What he doesn't realize is that my phone bill will be proof enough to end their term thing. He told me that I should explain the terms to my bank...none of us knew the additional charges were in the agreement! I filed a fraudlent claim with my bank and cancelled my debit card when they opened this morning. It is a huge racket and they are counting on you not realizing what is happening until the 7 days have past. Wouldn't it be nice if all the hard earned dollars they are stealing burned them up in their call center...needless to say I am beyond mad...mainly at myself though. Do NOT ever click I agree until you have read the WHOLE thing! What goes around will come around...I am submitting a report to my state attorney general and calling the news media to alert folks ...if we all do that we might at least save someone else the misery.
