I would recommend that you call the phone number for your credit card company that's posted on your credit card statement and deal directly through them. I called mine today, the first time I saw that $72.93 charge, and they canceled my card and are putting in a fraudulant claim against these bums.  They are also issuing me new cards.

The customer service rep on the phone at the credit card company told me that these jerks had already posted another charge on the card.  WELL NO MORE!!

I hope that helps you.  This is what happens when there's people who don't want to work for their money.  Grrr.

I called the 866 number direct; they did ask me for my phone number for tracking purposes.  I explained that I never authorized the $77 purchase, and wanted my money refunded.  They obliged and cancelled my account, gave me a confirmation # and said it would take 7 - 10 business days for the refund to hit my bank account.  I am still going to contact the my bank and report fraudulent activity so that I can get a new bank card.

What I’m hearing here is problems with the way they are marketing there product, the question I have is has anyone tried the business, and can you make money if you work it? That is what is most important, not the way there market there product. I’ve seen many products being marketed that way. Remember the Internet is not yet regulated the same way other consumer stores are.

I did finally receive a credit back from the blazingkeywords.com/A1 Member company to my now-cancelled debit card. The bank actually told me they couldn't just make an adjustment on a debit card because the money once its gone, they are not responsible - they can make an adjustment on a credit card.

Isn't it interesting that these have all happened with in the last month.  I got roped into this by trying to get a free Mac Book off of Facebook.  Just wondering if anyone else got to them through the same thing?

Also the address that they have on their website is a UPS Store that rents the mail box to them.  So, it isn't even sure that this company is out of Utah.  File a complaint with the FTC, Utah Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and the Attorney General in the State you live in.  It does help some.

This happened to me also. I ordered the CD for $1.97 (I think). I never received an e-mail stating there would be a monthly fee. My debit card's fraud service caught the transaction when it was pending. I'm filing a fraud report and my bank will be crediting the money back into my account. They've also closed my old debit card and issued me a new card with a new number.

I feel a little bit better knowing that I wasn't the only one scammed but also wonder why this company is still allowed to do this!

Everybody report this SCAM to the FTC and the Utah Attorney Geenral and lets get these scammers shut down!

I fell for a too good to be true scam.  The MSNBC web page advertised  earning money by entering web address and being paid by, or working for Google.  Paid them $1.97 on 5/22, only to be naile for 72.21 three days later.  I have contacted my bank to report unauthorized/fraudulent activities, and sent MSNBC an e-mail reporting the scam since they are helping in the spread of this sam.......

Google is not affiliated with these scam companies, and there are several, at least 6-7 operating right now, maybe as many as 20, with all very similar if not identical websites and wording. Many of them even share the same testimonials.
However, Google does post their ads on other websites in the form of adsense. So, they are making money from the owners and affiliates who are advertising these scams.
I have been following two threads about these very scammers on scam.com and yesterday Google posted one of the ads on the thread I was reading. Amazing.
There are some things that you can try to do but you have to do them early on. You can limit any transactions to a low dollar amount on your CC and force your bank to call you or email you for an authorization before the transaction is allowed. At least some banks do this for their customers, since it is your money and you are their valued customer.
Many people have posted in scam.com that they never received a CD. So how would you send something back for a refund if you never received it?
There are a few of us that are trying to expose these sites as they appear and warn people before they get ripped off.
The best advice is to always Google the company name before parting with any personal information that can be used to access your bank or CC's.
Many times this information is read too late, but it is still good advice.
There are a few legitimate companies offering valuable information and software tools that are probably losing sales due to the atmosphere created by these scam sites. These scam companies hurt everyone on the web.
I do know that many of the list selling and the call centers are now moving into the Asian and Indian arenas because of the cheap labor pool,
but a few of us have found that the majority of the criminals behind the scenes of these scam sites are in Utah and some in Nevada, where the laws are less strict and thus favor internet crime.

On May 18th I had the same thing happen to me. I went to my bank and filed a fraudulent transaction report for $72.21. I called the number-1-866-200-5473- and went round and round with them. After many "technical difficulties" and being put on hold for up to 15 minutes at a time, they said they could refund me. Guess what? They DID. I just checked my account and both the bank and A1 Member refunded me. I could not believe it. I was very polite throughout my conversation so maybe that made the difference, I don't know. Good luck to you all and I hope it works in your favor. Beth

Do NOT give your credit card details to 8662005473 / Easy Google RPofits / Blazing Keywords / Google Treasure Chest / Google Money Tree 866 2005473 or whatever they are calling themselves this week. It is a big SCAM and you have to call your bank to investigate the fraud charges.

This whole offer is keyed on the receipt of a CD which we are charges $1.97 for shipping and handling.  From previous post, it seems, this CD isn't received.  That is a "Breach Of Contract" right from the beginning and that negates any other offers or charges this leads to.  This is going to be an uphill battle until federal and state authorities get involved and shut this company down with reimbursement of all charges.
Keep bank/ Card statements showing charges from this company and any of its affiliates.  It would also be useful to contact Google and any other services that have this advertisement on their websites.  It is one way to shut this place down.
I work and do not have the opportunity to call this place.  I am off Thursday and will be calling them consistently all day and making note of everything said and any acton they state will be completed.  Then it will be to the FBI and state BBB.
It is a hassle that I will have to cancell my debit card and have a new one issued.  This should not have to happen and this company and its associates will be held accountable for all charges involved with this scam.
Has any one spoken with a lawyer on this? A civil class action suit is warranted just from non-receipt of the CD,  Anyone who has spoken with a lawyer, please post what you have found out about any actions that can be done.
    Thank You.
