I also got a charge from A1 Memebers on my credit card for $24.87.  I didnt get the $72 charge because the moment I signed up on April 23rd for a CD costing $1.97 I immediately canceled the product becasue it was stupid.  So I didnt get the $72 charge, but the $24.87 is what they called the monthly charge.  They said WHEN I signed up for the CD I also signed up for something called Grant Springs - information on Gov Grants.  The man talked like it was in the fine print that I sign up for not just one product but for 2 products (that I would need to cancel both).  I asked A1 Member for Grant Springs ph number and they gave me another one of their toll free numbers and I got another guy with the same M.O:  How can I help you, would not name any company name, and said he was there just for customer support.  What a racket.  So in 6 - 10 days I'm suppose to receive a refund and will be watching my account daily for any other fraudulent charges - then cancel the card.  The 2 ph numbers I now have are:  866-200-5473 &  888-247-2155

I called immediately after my son indicated this was a scam and spoke to Cassie on 888-247-2155 who told me my card had been charged $1.95 by blazingkeywords.com. She also told me she was located in the Phillipines.
She gave me a cancellation number and assured me nothing else would be charged to my account.  I will be monitoring it like a hawk over the next few days and will cancel and get the number replaced if anything else shows up. No wonder this scam is running wild.  These people are not even in the US!!!

Yeah I feel sorta stupid now for doing this, the only reason I believed it might be moderately legit is because it was linked on my college career services site!! I have tried to call these people back and even called the number Teri posted and I couldn't get anyone on either number.I just called my bank and they said that they want me to wait 7-10 days for the CD to arrive and the charge for $72 has'nt posted to my account yet, its a pending charge, so I can't file a claim till both of those have occured.  What a mess!!!!

Contact the IC3 (http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx) and your bank or credit card company and then the state attorney generals office. I spoke with the scammers today and they said they were refunding the $72.21 they took from me. I also got a confirmation number from them but I don't hold any hope of them actually refunding the money. Even if they say they will refund the money please take the steps I noted above as I don't believe it should take 7-10 days to put back money they took in 1 day. Not only that we should all file the complaints so nobody else get's scammed. These companies only exist if we let them!

Ok, I ordered the treasure chest CD from Google. I got the CD and 2 days later I was charged $72.21 from GOOGLE CHEST 888-256-1248. I called on the 14th of May to cancel my account and to receive a refund. The lady gave me a cancellation number and said my refund would post in 7-10 days. It took 5 days to post into my bank account. Well I look at my statement online today to find a charge from A1 MEMBER 866-200-5473 for $24.87. Well I called the number listed and the girl on the phone said its from a company called something like Grant Spring?? (couldn't understand it completely) which obviously i've never heard of!! I got another cancellation number and she said she would process my refund as well. We'll see how this goes and I dont know what I am going to do if I get charged again. Im soooooo frustrated!

The first time i called for the 72 dollar charge, I had to argue for a good 10 minutes for her to process my refund. Im letting you guys know so you don't give up when they say they cant refund you. just keep pushing and pushing, they'll eventually give in.

Threaten them with the IC3 and tell them you are going to dispute the charges with your bank or CC and start an investigation. The key is not to get angry, just persistent. It seems if you start yelling at them they hang up. I stayed calm and told them what I wanted and within five minutes they processed my refund or so I hope.

My debit card has been charged three times without authorization.  The listed phone number is a dud.  No one answers the line.  We are arguing with our bank to get this handled, but they are unhelpful.  Stay away from this company!!

I finally got ahold of them!!! It must be a certain time of day thing idk but every other time that I have called them it had said that there offices where closed or even the number was disconnected.  I am still gonna dispute the charge with my bank and try to keep more charges from occuring.  I just have to wait till the initial charge has been posted.  When I talked to the representative she said I had signed up for something, but all I thought I was doing was ordering a CD for 1.97, far from the price of $72. I dont recall seeing any fine print either.

got two charges for 24.87 on the same day.  Immediately cancelled my credit card.  Called the 866-200-5473 number and asked for mailing address to send cash to because I didn't have a credit card.  They gave me the address of 970 W. Broadway, Suite E, Jackson, Wyoming  83001.  I googled that address and it turned out to be a copy/mail center.  I called them and they said there were so many people involved, that there was an investigation and they couldn't say anymore, but that I should call the federal trade commission, so I did.  I filed a report and ask that each of you do also.  Takes just a minute and they are nice.  Call
    1-877-382-4357 or (202) 326-2222.  Let's get these criminals!

I ordered a CD for info on work-at-home for a shipping fee of $1.97 on April 23. I thought I would be charged an additional fee if I did not cancel within 7 days of receiving the CD but was charged $72.21 on May 5. I got the CD in the mail around May 22 from Google Treasure Chest. I found it to be of no use to me. I called the number on the CD (866 951 1406) as well as the number given to my bank (for refund call 866 957 0020) and in both cases was refused a refund. I was told that the charge was for access to the web site for which they had e-mailed me a username and password. I found no such e-mail and did not use their site. I called Google and was told that this was a scam that they are aware of that is using the Google name as part of their own and there is nothing they can do to stop it. Then I was charged $24.87 as an "A1" member on may 26. I called the associated number (866 200 5473) and after much hassle was finally told that this was for membership to GrantSpring.com which I've never heard of and certainly didn't join. I only gave my debit card info to Google Treasure Chest because I trusted the Google name. To all others I give my paypal info. so there is only one way that Grant Spring could have gotten it. Just as with so many other people, I was unemployed and desperately trying to pay my bills and hold on to my house. It has cost me a lot to learn of these scams but the blow to my psyche is what hurts the most because, like you, I am a trusting person but that is the only way they can take advantage. I urge you to trust my experience and call immediately to cancel your order and subscription, notify your bank or credit card company to block any future charges, and check the rip-off alert sites and blogs before signing up for anything. Good Luck and well being to you.

I have had the same thing happen to me... I signed up for that stupid $1.99 cd for making money on google. I actually got a phone call from the company in charge of this www.blazingkeywords.com they told me that its a membership and that I would be charge $72.00 a month if I agreed to it. I told them that I did not want that and to please not sign me up as a member. This was a day or so from the initial sign up day (which qualifies as being in the 7 day trial period.) They told me they were sorry that I was not signing up but that it would be cancelled. All this conversation happened in the beginning of May, then on Friday I see a pending charge of $38.84 I called my bank and they told me until it went through there was nothing that they could really do. Today I see the charges on my bank statement and get the number for A1 Member who is the company that placed the charge on my credit card. They inform me that I signed up for some kind of membership thing. I told them I never did sign up for it, the lady I talked to said that they would cancel my membership, but after reading all these posts I dont think Im going to get my money back. I will have to go to the bank cancel my debit card, be without a card for a week and then change the info on those real charges that are supposed to go through automatically. This is very frustrating and disturbing that we are losing time and money in this type of economy. It angers me that these companies see that we are oviously in need of money if we are trying to sign up for how to make money from home and instead of helping they are taking so much money from all of us. I am sorry my story got long but I had lots to say.
