really all you people are rediculous!! the botom line is, you are in debt and have lived a life style that you couldnt afford by using credit cards and loans, try being a real consumer and living by yourmeans, i am a collector myself and did work for the law office of sidney mickell, i am as ordinary as any other person, but i put priority first that my bills shoudl always be paid rather than fun before work, get ahold of your finances and quit pointing the finger at everyone else, yea everyone knows credit companies are a rip off so why get the credit card knwoing yoru interest rate sucks, i cant stand people liek the ones who right bullcrap on here just jumping on a band wagon, pay your bill!! the economy is messed up because people like all of you debtors who just dont care enough to handle your responsibilities!!

A message was left on 3/3/09 from a Mr. Cutts of Law Offices of Sydney & Michael for Jerry Matthew to contact 1-866-204-3786 immediately.  The voice on the answering sounded like of those from a collection agency. I do not know any Jerry Matthew and I am not in need of an attorney.  I deleted the message.

Well, I received a call from this company and when I got home I did have a letter from them.  It was for a credit card that the company had written off and sold to them.  I must say, the gentleman I spoke with was polite, courteous and willing to work with me.  This was the nicesct agency I have had to deal with.  
But beware, I do get a call from a lot of scammers, mostly with heaving Indian accents.  They even try to collect detbs for active credit cards I have!  So do beware of whom you are dealing with.  This is a legitimate  company.

These people keep calling my mother, yet they never call me.  She has given them my phone number and they still call her.  I am tired of the bottom of the barrell collections companies saying money is owed even after things have been taken care of.

They were calling my mother, I called them and asked them to stop, they hopefully have. They were very nice. I know what they are and who they are but don't these companies have a right to get their money due them?

Is your information reliable? I know the account they are trying to collect on has been charged off, so can they still come after me?  I'm unemployed and have no means of putting anything together for this mess.

Sue them under FDCPA. No collector can harrass a person who doesn't owe a debt. Send a certified letter telling them to stop calling your mother. Contact your local Volunteer Legal Aid Services center, or an attorney if you can afford one.

With enough lawsuits, CACH, LLC. or Sidney Mickell, the California branch, will see consequences.

Spare yourself and others the problem, and take legally sanctioned action!!!

Rather than call them, you have the option to send a CERTIFIED letter in response to their claims. Tell them you will only deal with them in writing.

It will save a headache, and you'll have a papertrail.

This was a while ago for you, but it sounds like, because they mailed nothing, they don't legally own the debt. I hope you didn't pay.

Yeah, get any debt info in writing, showing they are the legal owners of the debt.

yeah you are a joke you tried to get my husband to pay yall saying you are collecting from a credit card company and they said that they don't sent you our information what a joke you just thought you would get money from us but i am smart and i do my research you have been sued 4 times due to taking money that is not yours and trying to get peoples account numbers over the phone nice try

Called & claimed it was about my wife's son. She doesn't have a son. Phone number called from was 909-568-0750.

Call on answering machine, caller ID 909-542-1284, "MICKELL LAW OFC": "This is a message for [my first & last names]. [My first name], it's Mr. Cutts with the Law Office of Sidney Michael. I don't know if this is the best number to reach you or if I should call you down there at your job. I do need to speak with you right away. There's a matter here at the firm you will want to know about immediately. The phone number to reach me here is area code 866 204-3786. Again, this is Mr. Cutts with the Law Office of Sidney Michael. There is a matter here at the firm you going to want to know about right away. Please return the call."

Wouldn't be surprised if it's in regard to my partner, who has defaulted on a lot of CC's and loans this past year.
