File complaint with the FCC online and add your # to the do not call.gov

I received several calls from this number; I didn't recognize the number, but did call back once.  All I heard was  a long series of rings on a "customer service line", and I hung up before anyone answered.

We keep getting these calls but we do not owe anything to a hospital or doctor.  I have reported them to the scam call government list.

When debt collectors call trying to collect it is because they've 'purchased' said debt from which it originated. Therefore the original debt has been paid to the company of origin and the debt collection agency is trying to collect repayment basically.

Not necessarily. Collection agencies may get a percentage of the amount they collect on behalf of the creditor, so the creditor and collection agency don't get any payment until the debt is collected.

They've called me, but they don't leave a message. I owe some money to a hospital, but I'm on a payment plan because it's a huge bill. The hospital doesn't know who they are. I wish they would at leave a message so I could track this down. I'll call them today and require them to contact me in writing for the future.

My husband received a call from 866-213-7755, on his cell phone. Didn't get to it in time to answer, I called back. It was a hospital calling for someone who had the phone number before us. He said he would remove it from their files .. we'll see. My husband has had this number for 5/6 years and it's unbelievable the collection calls we have gotten for this person.

I keep getting calls from this number with no details about who it is. Surely companies know I'm not going to call back when they leave no details.

Actually it's charged off from the creditor. The debt still needs to be collected but if it is out of statue of limitations the only thing collections can do it file 1099c with irs which they can go after you no matter if the debt is 30 years old.

But if the collection agency does not own the accounts they get a percentage of what is paid

This number called me saying that my deceased mother owed over 18,000 dollars to Saint Louise Regional Hospital.  I went to the hospital and they called with me to this number and two people told me that they never called in regards to my mother's bill. Called back again and asked for a tax ID number put me on hold for 30 minutes and then told me to call another number.  I then called and got a hold of the right billing services number and they said that the insurance has already been billed and the bill was not that amount.  This is harasment and fraud.  Do not give any information to this number.

I got a call from this number on my personal phone and as soon as I hit ignore it rings on my work phone which I recently just got from my job, my name isn't listed under that # for anyone to get. nor have I given that # to anyone, I literally just got the phone today.

Not sure who they are but they called and did not leave any contact name or any business information. When I call back, the recorder says they want me to provide my personal information. Not comfortable to provide anything over the phone.

This really is a phone number for hospital billing. From the comments I've read here they must service a very wide area for a great many hospitals, including our hospital locally.

These [***] called me at WORK trying to collect on a medical bill.  Get in line but NEVER call me at work again!!

Got the same thing. Ringing, ringing, ringing.  Makes me wanna RING someone's neck!!!!
