If anyone out there wants to apply for a reality show they can do so directly through the hosting network's website.

James called me yesterday and said I needed to send 5-10 pictures by midnight. I did, and he said I was chosen to move on to the next round. Now I just have to pay the $299. Ugh. If everyone gets the same exact information clearly we are all being scammed.

I'm being scammed

I did an application for ANTM about a week ago & someone called me from an "unknown" number first & then this man named Mark finally gave me this number. Ext #104 they asked me for $299 for interviews & what now. I feel like it's a bunch of bs.

Did you ever find out if it was legit?

I applied to be on Survivor and was contacted by Andrew Steele to send him some pictures and he would get back to me.  It all boiled down to them wanting my $299. I contacted a friend of mine who had been on Survivor and there is no fee to apply/audition.  Mr Steele become less friendly when I questioned him about where the money went.  He told me it was in Survivor's terms and conditions which it is clearly not.  I am reporting this phone call to the local authorities as well as Survivor casting.  Not sure how he got my information from Survivor but I will find out and the invasion of privacy will be stopped once and for all.

Are you on a reality show now

Non-scripted tv is a total scam. When you search for a certain reality tv show, their website is sometimes the first thing that pops up.

They say you were selected, they ask for your money, then they never return your calls again. And if they do, it's only to throw you off for a month.

These people are professionals. Many reality tv hosts have said that non-scripted tv is not affiliated with them. They are just out to rob you of $299.

I believe in karma and if these scam artists have children, they will surely struggle.

If you do not have to pay to be on tv, then why is there a talent agent telling me I have to pay a one time fee of $299.00?
