- Tamianth replies to jason hauzerSeriously, the poster above is not who you need to speak with. Neither is this forum associated with your internet service provider, its forum for reporting who calls you and giving information to share with other people getting calls so they know..
I've flagged your post for to get your numbers removed as that is asking for way more trouble then what its worth what with shills and spammers reading here. You don't need the added hassle of more callers. - berniceit is cogeco billing dept
- Caller: cogeco
- Call type: Debt collector
- Wally replies to ShawnPay your Cogeco bill
- james replies to jason hauzer| 3 repliesThis isn't cogecos website you moron. And it doesn't matter who's in the hospital, they give you a couple months of nonpayment before they disconnect you. Pay your bills you bum
- anonymous replies to james-------
- Gunner replies to jamesCalm the [***] down....moron
- Brandan replies to madisonThat number is on congecos website for reporting a payment.
- Angalia| 1 replyThe number belongs to Cogeco yet a scammer has been calling through a program where he puts in Cogeco's phone number but is actually calling from Texas. They told my mom that her computer was infected with something from Malaysia that was 10 times worse than a virus (Their words) and wanted her to get on her computer where they said they would walk her through removing it. She only has a corded phone so she told them she needed to have me call them back from my cell. They number they gave was not Cogeco however but a number in Texas: 1-866-247-4979 and I did call them back.
In this case I cannot say who called Jimmybob or others who know it was NOT cogeco they were talking to .. but this IS their phone number. I called Cogeco back and had them check my mom's account and they said there was nothing on her account saying there were any problems and said they had not called her today. - Angalia replies to Just meI can verify but sadly that is their number. They (in the last year) have been able to change the number that appears on our screens through the telecaller program they are using. The only way to keep ourselves safe is to be weary when we get calls from anyone, be it the bank, our ISP, etc, and if bells go off in your head, say you will call them back and call the company direct. If it is valid they WILL have a record of it. Be safe.
- Geep| 3 repliesWhat a long list of idiots: "My mommy told me it isn't!", spelling and grammar mistakes. Jeez! It's Cogeco credit and anyone who doesn't pay their bills knows that! LMAO
- You Are WRONG replies to Just me| 1 replyHey dimwit. It IS Cogeco! My God you people posting here are morons. PAY YOUR BILLS PEOPLE! The excuses people come up with to get out of paying what they actually owe to a company is disgusting.
- Exactly replies to Geep| 2 repliesRight? These people are complete morons.
- Tygerkat replies to Exactly| 1 replyConsidering scammers can spoof any number they want, people are wise to not take unidentified callers at face value. If you get a call from a company claiming you owe a bill, call the number on your bill to confirm. Don't call the number left; it could be a scammer.
And the name-calling was unnecessary. People being cautious aren't morons. - Tygerkat replies to You Are WRONGThe name-calling is unnecessary. People have said their bills are up to date or they don't have Cogeco, so they're wise to question calls from this number. No one is trying to get out of paying legitimate bills but no one wants to pay someone who isn't entitled to their payment. Scammers can spoof any number they want so if you get a call about a bill it's always wise to call the number on your bill instead of some random number left by a possible scammer.
- Saandra Beech replies to TygerkatAnonymity at its finest on this site! So easy to bash others while hiding behind fake names!
Why don't those posters go somewhere else to ridicule people?
When I receive an unknown number calling me, I immediately check this site for INFORMATION - not malicious attacks. - Allie replies to jamesNot so, I just got the bill last week, paid it on Wednesday though my bank like I always do in full, now they are calling for what reason. Bill is not due until May 3rd. If this is how they do business after all these years, I will be looking for new coverage elsewhere. This is not PROFESSIONAL.

- BethThis company "waterman financial" or "waterman & associates" is completely fake. Called from a spoofed local number saying I owed them $515 from a previous payday loan through advanced America. Wanted my credit card info over the phone and would not mail me anything unless I agreed to pay $200 more. Do not fall for this!
