Then: Pay your bills on time, or, call in and provide payment arrangement details as to when you can pay how much you can pay, and how you will make that payment so they can take you off the dialler. If you are on pre-authorized payments then a call from this number means something went wrong through your bank account, or for whatever reason no payment has reflected on your account. Doing this is worth it to stop call and not have your services suspended because you made a payment but didn't tell them about it.

First of all, you're replying to someone who posted 13 years ago.  Secondly, if you feel it necessary to offer comment please provide sound advice.  ANY number can be spoofed; even this legitimate one.  It is not prudent to ignore such a call but it is advisable to call the number yourself.  If as Kent suggested back in 2012, the number is being spoofed by scammers, initiating the call will prevent you from giving account information to a scammer.  I'm sure COGECO would agree.

Cogeco Cable.  Call my house every day.  Sometimes more than once.  Most of the time its dead air if I decided to answer to them.  Most times I just let it ring, and they don't know when to give up when no one answers.
