- show me galReceived a collection from these junk deb collectors in March, 2009 for an alleged ticket that I never received from March, 1997. Called them, and a lady threaten me on the phone and said you should learn how to pay your bills. Well, when you do receive ticket you have at least 3 options, pay the ticket is legally correct, argue the ticket in traffice court, and lastly have someone fix the ticket through another police officer or a ticket agency. Asked to have a copy of the alleged ticket sent to me, they said they do not have anything on file, only a computer generated ticket. This is illegal, as I wanted a copy of the ticket to see if I signed the ticket, did the officer take my driver's license or what. These attorneys are only out to see profit for themselves so their advertisement that they help governmental agencies is false, always remember, collection agency folks are looking out for themselves, not the alleged individual owing the debt. they need to be stopped and the people that work in their offices are all crooks, check them out.

- tejasduck replies to legalThis isnt just for the State of Florida... My unpaid speeding ticket is for a precinct in Dallas County, Texas. The law firm is out of San Antonio, Texas when I called back. The sad thing is the courts gave me a 30 day extension that this company didnt know about.
- FREDA replies to legalavoiding calls seldom, if ever, gets anyone arrested by Florida or any other state, arrests might come in cases of child support, but I can't think offhand of any other area that will get anyone arrested just for not paying a bill. A lot has to happen before warrents are issued, and that seldom happens.

- Jake| 1 replyThey are collecting money for my un-paid citations in Dallas County. I paid them for one of the citations and it was removed from the Dallas City Hall ticket payment website.

- kim from texas replies to grofi got a call from them a while back. i have several charges on me that i have taken care of and i may have a bit of a bad memory but im not stupid. they called telling me i owe them $650.00 and when i asked why she said she had no way of finding out. pretty much told me to go find a reason. i found out about this because of a mail i had received, but i didnt understand why i would owe an attorney ive never had in a city ive been to once when i was ten.. it sounds like a complete cold scam or identity theft but i have no idea how to handle this other than telling them to go suck it. any suggestions?

There's no way that this is legitimate business. - Ron replies to legalSHILL ALERT!!! SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.
- Ron replies to MarinaBottom feeders. These are the type that give collection agencies a bad name. Tell them nothing at all. If, in fact, they are handling a legit debt, especially if they claim is from parking tickets or anything via a municipality, they will have that info.

- TiffanyI have never even been to Florida, so I have no idea why they would be calling me. I've never had a citation there, BECAUSE I'VE NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN FLORIDA. Whether or not this company is legit, who knows. But I do know it sounds fishy to me since I would have no reason to have a warrant in Florida.

- thomas| 2 repliesi live in texas , these people are low life attroneys whom make money from tickets , they can not do anything to you , just calling , where you go the tickets has the control over you and your fine, sherrif office is the only people can issue a warrent for your arrest , if you have a warrent , go to bonding company and get a none arrest bond and they give you a court date , go back to court tell the judge , you are broke , take it or leave it , you have no money and bills need to be paid , or just send a letter to the court attention to the judge explain what is going on with you
otherwise do not call them back , they want your money and their commission , so they will tell you hell with you ,

- SusanThis company calls at least twice daily. They leave no message. If this is any kind of reputable company who requires a call back they would at least leave a message. This is a place of business and we owe no one so there is no reason for them to be calling here.

- Lizzy Howe replies to Sara Lockett| 2 repliesI received a letter from them also stating I owe from my charges back in 2009 and I called to see if I could be put on a payment plan the lady Ms. Tequlia stated I was unable to set up a payment that I would have to pay the amount in full. And she also asked if I was getting a tax return this year.
You stated you were put on a payment plan how did you go about doing that? I do not want to go to jail over this I would like to care of it and makes payments I do not have $3,000 I can just hand over like that. Then she stated if I could borrow the money from someone or take out a loan. Can you please tell me how you set up a payment plan I would greatly appreicate it. Thank you for your time. I live in Jacksonville florida by the way - nocalling me, by name but I never set foot in florida, am totally debt free and never had a ticket so it's a scam at best.
