They are scammers, if you have a warrant they would arrest you, if you owed back taxes, they would garnish your wages. Don’t be so gullible people.

Why are you paying these “attorneys” instead of to your local sheriffs office? Scam!!

It’s a scam. Never give any information and it’s no one business if and when you receive a tax return.

Well i live in Orlando, and apparently I owe some unpaid tickets at the clerk of Court but I have to speak with this Linebarger collection agency to pay off my license.

So I have a unpaid fine from Polk county, fl animal control I knew about the one that $621.28 well I called the court house and got the number because I knew it was in collections but I have never gotten another fine I was put on probation and Linebarger is saying I have another one of $727.. I’m not sure what is going on here. Anyone else experienced this? They couldn’t even tell me what it was from!!

This # keeps calling asking for a Juan somebody. They have called 10 times and 10 times I have told them, I have had this # for 10 years and I know no one by that name AND allow no one to use my phone.  They disregard and keep calling. How can I report them?

This is a horrible law office.  I went to their location in Portsmouth, Virginia over an account eith a toll company.  You walk up to a glass window in the hall of the office building.  You speak to the collections agent through a hole in the glass. NOT private.  What about privacy laws?   I requested to speak with a lawyer and was informd that there were no lawyers wotrking at the law office.   The collection agent was rude, disrepectful and condesendingl.  He even laughed at one point.

Called from 844-544-5358, but 866-234-9790 was the callback number left in the vmail.  They can send a letter by mail if it's a legitimate matter. Blocked both number and reported them to online junk caller databases

1.  I see that thread is empty.  Why?  Why did you not post there?
2.  This is not a debt collector to be trifled with.  They will sue you.  They do not need to send letters because they do not collect consumer debt which means that they do not have to follow any federal or state collection laws.
3.  It would be in your best interest to start taking the time to read the other posts where you would have learned a lot.

Linebarger, Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP is a scam company. Everyone who is saying that it is a legit company works there or has some kind of affiliation. I just received a call and was told to call back and was given a reference# concerning an outstanding debt. However, I have NO debt, have not taken out any, NO past child support, NO parking tickets. I am confident of all these things with 100% certainty. Also, I have NEVER been to Florida. It is too far to drive and not somewhere I want to go. So before they scam people they should investigate further and make sure that person has even been to the place they are claiming they owe a debt in. Also, make sure that person is not a lawyer as well who is married to a sheriff. Nice Try!

Regardless, they are a law firm in Texas.  They do collect fines, tickets, unpaid court fees, etc.  They do sue.  Not sure where Florida enters into this.
