- RJ| 2 repliesThis company first began calling me in 2006 regarding a balance with St. Johns Hospital. I have never gone to a St. Johns Hospital in my life. They sent me a letter claiming to seek legal action if I did not pay. Since it is now 2009 and have NOT been to court and keep receiving the phone calls I would definately advise anyone contacted by this company NOT to pay. Check with your insurance to solve any problems.

- sweetpea replies to RJYes, I got this same call, left a message saying this was a very important personal matter.. They call my cell number and when I don't answer they immediately call my work number. Which I do not answer either. If it is a bill I need to pay then they need to send a letter to my home.
- Rebekah62Received a call from "George" wanting someone I never heard of. When I began questioning him about what company he was from, he hung up. I googled the number & called it back. Medical Financial Services, waited to hear a 'real person' and got "George" again. I hung up this time :D

- skimarkI received a call from 1-866-249-2094 and when I answered there was a pause and as I was about to hang up a female voice said hello. She asked for my wife by name and when I told her she was not here, she asked to leave a message. Her message was to have my wife call her (Wanda)at 1-866-249-2094 and it was about a personal business matter. I don't think my wife will be returning this call.
- Mike| 1 replyKregon...
If you gave a cell phone number as form of contact to the company you owe, then YES they can call your cell. - Cathy replies to MikeThey started calling my daughters cell phone. Just activated her phone last week. I think she got someone elses old cell number. I called them and explained to them the deal and they removed the number from thier list. They were helpful about it too.
- JoeCalled me after 7p.m., I thought it was a family call because the number is unlisted, etc. It was "George" calling for me by name. I told him that person was no longer at this number. He asked how long I had the phone number; which I thought was odd. He left this phone number and no reason to return his call. I owe bills, but they don't have the number where I am and the number is on the don't call list. Weird Stuff. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one having this issue....

- Betty replies to PJI got the same message on my voicemail twice before today. today I answered the phone. A man asked to speak to my son that died in November 2003. The man said that he would not call again.
- BlaineThis is a [***] scam, thy know better to actually call someone and ask for money because they know they would get told off. I wanna call them back just to [***] yell at them.
- [L337] bazooka JoeIf you owe a bill, the F.D.C.P.A. (fair debt collection protection act) states that the person in reference can be CONTACTED once a day. Calls in attempt to contact them do not count. and you must realize that a collection company recieves all its records from the hospital that you provided you personal information to. So in an instance where they are asking you for your Date of birth, they already know what it is (this includes the last four #'S of you SS also) and the representative your speaking with is actually doing you a favor by protecting your identity.
- timiokeep calling to tell us we owe money we dont will not stop calling

- CarolI can tell you all about this phone call and company. They've been calling my home now for over a year, I've receive NO mailings. Then one day a human message, I answered. They are trying to collect a debt for a hospital that infected my husband with ecoli and staph over 3 years ago. I've chased away other collections due to this matter. Then the infection turned to septicemia, within a short time his lungs shut down, then his kidneys, then his entire GI track. I explained this, they won't listen to me they need to hear it from him, and my husband has since gone crazy from this. They keep calling,I ignore.

- DarknessBecomesHerI just got the call from them, but let it go to VM.
If there is anything I owe to anyone, I will NEVER pay it until I get a request in writing and then I want proof that I owe it to THEM in the first place. - CCThis company called looking for me claiming to be "Texas Debt Solutions". They wanted me to pay them $272 for services I did not use! They had a bunch of personal information about me though, which freaked me out. Like insurance info and such....whom I am calling.

- ginaI got a call today from 822-249-2094 and the message was left by a man that I need to call them back asap because of a time sensitive issue with the hospital.. I've paid ALL of my debts and I just checked 2 credit reports today and there is nothing on them for any debts what-so-ever.. I'm not sure what to do.. Do I believe that I owe Money from 2004 and this is the best the hospital can do to collect it? Send me a bill and if they have all my personal info then they know where to send it. Next time they call I'll answer.

- Max| 1 replyI've received this call at least 30 times over the last 2 months and whenever I don't pick up it's a recording of a lady saying the same thing they said to you, but the other 10 or so times I have answered the call they ask for someone new that's not me, like George or Mike or Kevin etc... it has gotten to the point where I pick up, yell "YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER, NEVER CALL AGAIN" and hang up. But it appears I will have to get a bit more violent next time they call. Gonna try to report them to a bad company agency right now..

- former collectorI recv'd a call from Medical Financial Solutions @ 1-866-249-2094 on 9/2/09. The man that I spoke with was very nice and once he verified whom I was he completely discribed why he was calling. He stated that the reason he was calling is regarding a balance that was left over after my insurance had paid their portion. He gave me all the information that I needed to contact my insurance company as well as stated that he would set my account out for 10 days due to I wanted to contact my insurance company to confirm the charges. I called MFS back and set arrangement for payment. They were understanding and also sent me my paid in full letter prompty. I hope that this helps someone.
