I just received a call from 909-256-0208 as well. I didn't answer but they didn't leave a message either. I called them back. Debt collector who states they have the wrong # on file & will remove it. This is the second time they have said that.  Reported them to the donotcall.gov

The same person calls at the same time every morning asking for my wife or hangs up when I answer and the number is not valid when I try to call it back. Very annoying.  When I ask to be put on do not call list he tells me that they are not selling anything.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone.  When I answer, no one is there.  When I try to look up the number to see who's calling, I get a message saying they have the name of the person but I have to leave my CC information in order to get it.

I'd like to find out how to block this number from calling!!!

Simple harassment.

Received call from 866-275-6020.  They were from "Northland Group" but said they couldn't tell me the purpose they were calling.  I told them the person they asked for hasn't had the number they called for over 1 1/2 YEARS.  I asked them to please indicate that in their records and not call my number again.  I searched online and Northland Group does accounts receivable collections.  I was not surprised.  I get a few calls a month for the previous owner of my telephone number, assigned to me by Cox Digital Phone after being dormant for only 30 DAYS! (I found out too late to be worthwhile to change it.)  I obtained his name and previous address from Best Buy and Sears, both of which had my number identified with his name.

Receive calls from this number and they have bought the account from a previous company. Debt was paid in full to previous company but they keep calling. Ought to be a law against these companies. Not sure how to make them stop without having to take legal action.

I get calls from 866-275-6020 (5) days a week from northland group I don't have no form of business with them,but they have the brass balls to call my number that I gave no permission for them to call anyone who get calls from them you are going to get legal with them,because they will not stop the calls.

They are criminal debt collectors out of Minnesota.  they won't stop calling untill you tell them to by certified, return receipt mail in either a debt validation letter, or a cease and desist letter.  Everything you need to know is here:

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of the date of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

I called back and message said something North

They called at 11 a.m. today. They didn't leave a message. Caller ID said "toll free"

The call came about 10 a.m. Caller ID said toll free. They left no message.

This number has called me every single day since Friday morning. Twice. A. Day. It's really annoying, especially considering the fact that they usually wake me up before my alarm goes off! Screw off, pal!
