Got called by them, dont know who it was, couldnt hear the person.  When I called back they couldnt even find my number in their system.

1-866-344-3314 and 1-972-644-3314 and 1-972-715-2013  are numbers for SRG  Strategic Recovery Group, P. O. Box 61026, Anaheim, CA  92803  :  http://www.srg-i.com  and 6500 International Pkwy, suite #1500, Plano, TX 75093.  We had a Foreclosure 2 1/2 years ago.  They claim that they are collecting a deficiet for some company named ELLINGTON.   The amt they claim we owe is not even close to the difference in the the Foreclosure I saw at the court house,  I've never heard of ELLINGTON.  The original mortgage company sent us a 1099-C "Cancellation of debt" and these people want me to pay then,  a 3rd or 4th party.  Nope!  They also dropped the amt to less than 50% of the amt they claim we owe, after about 3 months of phone calls.  They said they would consider the money they claim we owe, paid in full and they would send us a piece of paper that "WE" could send as proof to the credit bureaus.....right  !!!!!

They keep calling me about some deadbeat named Dirk, They are apparently unwilling or unable to remove my number from their system. I have filed complaint with FTC do not call and the State Attorney General office.

They keep calling my cell phone. I called back and asked what kind of company they were. I was told that if I gave them my information he would look me up in there system. I told him I would only give him my phone # and he refused to help me. I told him I was reporting them to Att. Gen. and he said go ahead.

My house was Foreclosured 5 years ago. And now this company call me for $$..
Haa Haa... That house already been sold many years... No need to deal with some fool like them... waste time..

Foreclosure was in 2000 and they keep calling me.  House was sold and taken care of by a lawyer. Then received a letter willing to settle for only $7K. This is fraud - report it to your local attorney general.

Just received a call from 1-866-344-3314, figured it was a telemarketer so I told them I wasn't available but wanted their information so I could report them (I'm on the Do Not Call register). I couldn't understand the guy at all. When I asked for the company name, he told me three different variations of the name SRG including SRG Energy, SRG Recovery, and just plain SRG. Then when I asked for his name, first he said Dick, then it was Rick then it was Nick. Then he asked for my personal information. Seriously?!

Received several calls from this phone number.  It's always an automated message, never a real person.  I believe it's collection agency trying to reach the person who had this cell phone number before me. I've tried calling the company back to find who they're looking for but you never get to speak to a real person.  It's annoying because this cell phone is prepaid and it's chewing away at my minutes.

They've called me once or twice.  The problem is that I just got this phone less than a week ago, and literally got the first call before I had given out my number to anyone.

This number 866-344-3314 started calling me every day for the last two weeks. This company buys information on bad credit or foreclosures then calls you saying you owe them money. But it is a scam, so don't ever pay them because you don't owe them anything. Especially if you foreclosed in Arizona, because once the bank sells your home, no one can collect anything from you since the debt is settled. You just have bad credit for 7 years.

THey called today -- regarding my Non-Payment of 2nd Mortgage with Flagstar Bank.  They want to "re-negotiate" loan amount, or loan rate, etc.  Is this legitimate?  Can they foreclose?

SRGI is what shows up on my Caller ID -- debt collector for 2nd Mortgage, Flagstar Bank.  Who is SRGI?

Keep me posted here and i'll do the same...just got a letter from them today on a flagstar forclosure amout they say i owe...never called me yet...but i'm skepical because after the 1099a from flagstar, why are they not calling or mailing me?? any one else out here with info??? thank for any advise.

just received a letter from strategic about flagstar account that i have not paid in several months.  i have read all this about being a scam.  i did call flagstar and they told me that they did sell this debt to strategic but i have only received a letter in the mail.  absolutely no phone calls or anything from them.  not sure what to do.  any suggestions?

For two months have received phone calls several times a week from this
SRG company.  They say my son-in-law owes money on a foreclosed house.
The bank, etc., had his address and he does not reside with us.  They
have been told this and we have no obligation, but they continue to call.
Will report them to the attorney general.

The first time I answered they claimed that I owed money for a mortgage, which I don't. They then asked for the last four SS digits. I hung up. Now today they called three times in succession, which I have ignored. Someone needs to shut these scammers down.

i am currently dealing with them and i believe they are doing everything wrong... first they wouldnt even tell me who owns the note and how they became owners or how they became legally entitle to collect.. can we please change info .. so i can see if they have a pattern and maybe give it to my lawyer so we can sue them.. thx.  please contact me at mrcossio@msn.com
