- Vicki replies to SMMI keep several $10, $15 & sometimes $20 gift cards for these products I may want. If they try to charge more they get declined.
- Vicki replies to P SylvesterAsking to be removed thru an automated removal only tells them the number is good so they can keep calling.
- BillIf you pick up the call, pause, then say: "Your call has been forwarded to the Department of Justice Wire Fraud Task Force. Please wait for the next available agent." They will hang up immediately.
- Farmgirl replies to dcb"here."
- LynnI called the number back (to remove my number from their list) , expecting to get a machine, but a man answered and said MY name (caller I.d. Obviously). He said they would remove my number from their "internal list" and rattled off another 800 phone number to me.
What I'm curious about is why, if my number is already on the cell number 'Do Not Call List', am I still getting unsolicited calls??????- Caller: Uncertain
- Call type: Telemarketer
- kathyI just got a call from this number and was unable to answer....After reading many of these posts, I called it back.... She answered "Hello Kathleen"!!! She wanted to verify my address as I had ordered a Gotham Steel frying pan. I told her, I was not verifying anything and I was on line reading all the complaints generated by this number.... She told me to "have a good evening" and hung up!
Yes, I will be contacting Gotham tomorrow!!- Caller: toll free 1-866-379-2003
- SassycheroThis number (and 512-354-7230) is from Gazoo Pet Toys as well. It's a sales call, they rush on trying to make sure you don't get a word in edgewise... or so they try. 30 seconds into the "pitch" I said, "So this is basically a sales call?" He finally admitted it was after asking him 3 times and I told him I had ordered all I wanted and if I wanted to buy something else I'd do it on my own. Thank you, have a great night, good luck to you, goodbye." and I hung up then put them on my call reject list.
They are basically harmless if you catch the spiel quick enough and tell them no then hang up.
No harm no foul... usually :)- Caller: Gazoo Pet Toys (among others)

- Laurie| 1 replyJust ordered an As Seen on TV product, they overcharged me, I did not get the opportunity to decline the sale before they charged 4x times the amount I was budgeting for. This company was called Deal Hound, and I clicked on them on Facebook. I am going to send a report to FB as well. And I wonder, is posting on this site just a place to vent, or do these go somewhere where something can be done? We shouldn't have to put up with this crap, there must be some way to put a stop to these criminals. This is the first time I have placed an order like this, and I will never do it again. I have had to have my cc company disputed the payment. Reporting to the FCC seems to do nothing, as most government agencies today.

- MJG replies to LaurieHave you contacted your bank or charge company? No one here can really do anything for you except offer possible solutions since no one here is with that comapny.
- BdeBFor me they said they were "quality resources" calling in regard my recent order of " 5secondfix". the guy wanted to give me hundreds of $ worth promo's, needed to get my credit card # to charge me $1.00. I told him no at least three times before hanging up.

- iislandgirl replies to CharleneI just received the same call, same every word you described. It's scary how they have our information. I ordered a straightening hair brush last week. And I just received this call. I went online and found your post. I called him back and told him to f*** off, and get an effin life. Now I'm more pissed at the company, whom I ordered the brush for sharing my information. Anyways, thank you for your post, it gave me a heads up.
- Mary DTried blocking the number, but apparently it didn't work. They are still calling.

- WWDo NOT under any circumstances engage with these people. We ordered the Tummy Tuck weight belt as a gag gift for a friend's 50th. They called saying they were verifying my information, then wanted me to verify my card number. I made it VERY clear I was not going to give out my number and he went on and on about why it was okay to do it. I flat out said, "You can talk until you're blue in the face, but I am not giving you any more information." I am leaving work early today to have my debit card switched to avoid any fraud.
- Caller: Quality Verifications...?
