They call at the same time every day! It's really getting annoying! I looked up the area code and it's in Maryland...

I shouldn't have when I saw the 866 prefix, but I answered my cell phone at 17:07 today. She asked for Leroy and was OK when I said there was no one with this name at this phone #. So far no repeat calls (fingers crossed!)

BALONEY!!!  I NEVER enter a phone number.  So how do they get it?  Next you're going to say they're psychic, & got it that way?  Why don't you try telling the truth, or have your company tell YOU the truth.  And, no, I didn't forget the one time I did give it out.  It was NEVER given out.  You guys are given a list, & call, even though people are on the Do Not Call List!  Sorry, but either you guys are scamming us, or you guys are scammed by your employer lying to you.  That is NOT how the numbers are found!

I already AM on the do not call list.  It doesn't do a bit of good.  So if you want people to think, then YOU need to be the first to think before you open your mouth.

Finally called them back after repeated missed calls. They are Edcation Authority, a "company" that matches people to colleges. Pretty sure it's a scam. The man I spoke to said he'd put me on his Do Not Call list. Pretty sure you have to sign up somewhere for something for them to call you. Probably unrelated services.

Hey all. The Education Authority is the one calling you. It's a legitimate company. A free college matching service. Believe it or not you probably filled out something online about getting a college degree - maybe just to apply for that job or you did it on accident - the point is they have every right to call you because you "requested information". If you hang up on them, don't respond, don't answer - really anything short of telling them you would like your number on the do not call list they will keep calling you. Make sure it's The Education Authority calling you then simply ask for your number to be put on the do not call list. Remember these poor people are actually just doing their job. And believe me, it's a horrible job but sometimes it's all there is.
