I called the number and a very rude man said they are the "education authority" and my phone number was placed in an online survey for providing education assistance. Haven't done an online survey nor does anyone in this house need education assistance. Promised my phone # would be removed from calling list.....I guess time will tell.

The phone number does NOT belong to the National Kidney Foundation! I have been checking into how the EDUCATION AUTHORITY got my number associated with my name in the first place.
1. My number is unlisted.
2. My phone number is registered with different name.
3. I never filled out any surveys.
4. I only had my number one week.
5. I only did 3 things.....Facebook....Hotmail....Craigslist!
6. I gave my number to absolutely NO one!

funny stuff, they have called a business line several times leaving no message.  Our business number is a Skype number and we are able to block.  Good luck you dummies!

I keep getting calls for a Damie about three times a day. The buggers start at 8 a.m. and continue intermittently throughout the day. I work from my phone and I told them The Education Authority that I would contact police. They said they would remove my number but then I find out that they have 50 call centers. I am about to put a curse on this Damie and the idiots that are hounding me instead.

I half-way replied to a "Congratulations you've won a gift card from Wal-Mart" ad. Just had to choose two of three ads. No credit card or debit info was given. I stopped at this point. Seconds later got a call from Education Authority. Several hours later from a University since I wanted to further my education. I requested to be taken off their list. He said "that's fine, but do you still want to further your education." I said yes, but don't like the way they went about it...through the "Congratulations you're a ......"

I got a call from this number and didn't answer. It rang 3 times and left no message. Not the first time they've called, just the first time I was in school. I am not in college, so I don't know what their problem is.

The caller never leaves a message......And they hang up as soon as I answer the phone!

First it was a girl but every time they call me it's a different person asking is your name Brandon when I say yes they ask me how old I was and I say " don't call this number again creep" but they keep calling

I filed complaint with the Federal Trade Commission #32823991.
They keep calling and when I answer they hang up. Then I tried calling the number back, they answered and immediately went into B.S.! I told them to remove my number and stop calling, they then tried to yell me down and became abusive!
This is illegal!
I have filed complaint with the federal trade commission and the next time they call I will call the police and file reports for INTENTIONAL harassment and let the police handle them.

Yeah I called them back its education authority, they match you with schools. you probably gave out your phone number online or something.

how do i get them to stop? this is seriously getting annoying....they keep calling almost every other hour.....i cant take it any more. can someone please help me?

I am so tired of getting calls from this organization!!!  When I answer they don't speak.  Wasting my time and cell minutes.  I have reported them to the police.

I jkest called them on my home phone. To do this you need to dile a 1 first then the number. I asked for a suppervisor, and said to be removed. If yor call from the home phone you need to give them the number they orligently caled at. The suppervisor said he would remove it. Then he gave me abunch of B.S. I told him if they called agen I would report them to the FTC. He said I understand.
Then we hung up.
