How did they get my iPod Touch number? They won't stop calling!

It's a student loan company: Direct Loans.They are looking for someone who either lives there or used to have that phone number or address. They bother us constantly. And yes, they are effin' annoying! DIRECT LOANS. Hope this helps.

I called them back and they said they were with Education Authority and I told them I wanted my number removed and they said they will have it removed, but she wouldn't tell me exactly what they do.  Very weird in my book!

This number has been calling, but does not leave a message on my machine.  Today I happened to be home and they asked for me by name.  When I verified I was the person they were looking for, the woman identified herself as being with The Education Authority and said that I had recently indicated I was interested in furthering my education so she was following up with me.  I am certainly not against education, but at my age and stage of life it is definitely NOT something I am considering, nor have I indicated otherwise to ANYone.  I stated such to her and she thanked me and hung up.

I just submitted a report to the fcc.gov. Hopefully the calls will stop. I recommend that others do the same to get rid of this company - or try to anyway. Also, I placed my number on the national do not call registry - hopefully that will help.

1st time they called they said that they are calling about school. they keep calling but don't give any info.

yea they called my number leaving a message and then they keep callin because i dont pick up i dont like it one bit

Next time they call pick up and tell them you are still in high school. They have no idea your age so it will work. They will then tell you to wait until you graduate and your number will be removed from their list.

I called this number back and told them not to call my number again. This was at 501pm 11-1-2010.  It is a education help line. If they call back I will inform my phone company.

This number keeps calling my husbands work cell .That is not even listed in our name but the phone is listed under the local school board.The only people that is suppose to have this number is school workers and some close family.He has to pay 50 cents per call if it is not school related!STOP CALLING!!

When I returned their call it said "thank you for calling us back" and I said please remove me from your calling list.... so far so good.

I kept getting these calls and finally called them and found out Education Authority is the agency that responds when you sign up for information about going to school/college.  I just asked them to remove my number because I was no longer interested.  We will see if that works.

These jerks called my cell NINE times this evening. NINE TIMES. About a week ago they started calling 4 and 5 times a day. As I did not recognize the number, I did not answer the calls. They never leave a message. Sometimes the phone just rings twice, and then stops. This evening was terrible though, over and over. I finally picked up on the 9th call, but when no one said anything, I told them I was turning them in to the FCC and hung up. Then the calls stopped, at least for now. Bas*ards! If it's a student loan company, I haven't been in school for 40 years, and am retired.

this number has called me 3 times just today.  No one answers and the number is not in-service, why is this number calling me?

Ive told these people im on the do not call list and still they call my phone.The last person to call was named Trent.
