Ok here it is folks.  The number this belongs to is Education Advance.  Their website is www.educationadvance.com.  They claim that they don't have a physical address....or that they don't know it.  Strange huh?  Well supposedly what happens is your info gets entered into either a popup or a websurvey.  They can't tell you where this survey came from or anything.  They say if you want more info you need to contact CustomerSupport@educationadvance.com.  Supposedly these people will help you trackdown the IP address of where your info was entered.  The one person I spoke with said he was in Idaho.  However here is their address:

Also people I would strongly recommend you go to the National Do Not Call and put in that they called.  This will force this company to put in stronger security and perhaps stop advertising on pop ups.

The only way to stop these people from doing what they are doing is by actually reporting these people as often as possible.  This company should be using better security.  Please people, keep reporting them.

this 1-800 website must have no ability to help any of you who are complaining on this web site. I have seen nothing here that will actually help me get such calls stopped.

I also got this call.  I was at work so, I refused to say if I was the person they wanted to speak to until they told me exactly what it was their company did.  They refused and kept asking to speak to a particular person, so I hung up.  I never did find out what it was all about.  Since they called me, I had the right to know what the call was about before I would say if I was in fact the person they wished to speak to.  My number is on the National Do Not Call list, so they will hear about it.  My phone listed 4 missed calls from the same number.

They calle dme 7 times in the lst 24 hours! I am at work and my phone keeps going off.  I answered once and asked them to stop calling and they still are

they dont do student loans, dont know where you got that information from. but thats not the case.

Calling to see if I want to go to school.  Further my education etc.  I am close to 70 yrs. old.  If I don't know it by now, it's not worth knowing.

I got 21 missed calls from this number. I just called it back and they said they were from the Education Authority and that they would be recording my call. I asked exactly what they do and they said that they match you with at least 3 schools that have your similar educational interests in mind. I explained to him that I had already done my research on schools I was interested in and that I wasn't interested in his companies help. He said OK and hung up.

they call me every day. they ask for no one that lives here. when you cal lthe # back...in less than 1 second the message you get is the number has been changed....how do they get away with this

I guess they hit New York and the cell phones.  I have received calls everyday for the past three days in a row from this number on my cell phone. Did not pick up because I did not know them.  But I find it annoying that they continue to call.  How do we stop this????

YES IT MIGHT TAKE FROM 2 WEEKS TO A MONTH TO ACTUALLY START WORKING, BUT IN MY OWN EXPERIENCE IT DOES WORK. THEY GOT YOUR # FROM A WEBSITE YOU WERE PROBABLY JUST BROWSING THROUGH(COUPONS.COM, FACEBOOK EVEN!)

ONE OTHER THING I HAVE LEARNED IS THAT IF YOU THREATEN THEM WITH REPORTING THEIR HARASSMENT....THEY SUDDENLY STOP! LOL. THEY KNOW THE LAWS. I WORKED IN COLLECTION BUT NEVER ACTED LIKE THIS!!! ITS AGAINST THE LAW(FEDERAL AND STATE) EVERY CALL AFTER YOU TELL THEM TO STOP CALLING, YOU CAN BE PAID FOR. ONCE THAT IS MENTIONED, I PROMISE YOU THEY WILL STOP. JUST DO A QUICK GOOGLE SEARCH ON THE CALL LAWS & YOU CAN REPORT THEM. KEEP A PAPER TRAIL(PHONE/CELL BILL, ETC.) IT WILL HELP YOU TREMENDOUSLY IN GETTING $ FOR THE HARASSMENT!!!
