I just got a call from this number too. A man left a message from me saying his name is Mark from acquistion and I should call him back as soon as I get this message.  I call the number back by block ing my number by typing *67first then calling the number there was automated message saying education  authority  and the same person that called me ask for me by name again. I did not answer him and just hung up the phone. I don't know how he know it was me considering my phone number was blocked. That is so weird. What do they want and  are they even a legitimate company?

I have been getting calls from this number also, and I do have student loans but have made arrangements with my lenders. I do know the University of Phoenix gives out your personal information to Credit counselors for paying back loans. I had to turn them into the FTC. They should not be able to sell your information if the loans are no longer with them and with a private bank.

Received call from this number today. They never leave a message.  I am on the do not call list. STOP calling.  I am at work and its very annoying.

got two calls within 5 minutes to my cel phone today, very little used number, it 's not on any accounts or anything.  Noone there the first time, 2nd one went to voicemail and they left no message.  I did file a complaint on the do not call registry, thanks for the idea!
also going to block it with my cell phone company

that number just called me asking if i wanted to further my education and i have no idea how they got my number or how they knew my name.

Just got a call from this number.  Will report it to the proper authorities.

The phone number belongs to a volunteer program that calls you after screenings you have had done with the national kidney foundation.They are just calling to make sure everything is going ok and to see if there is anything they can do.
Don't always believe what other people write in here.Some just think everything is collectors that are looking for them and pull one of the many out of their hat to put a name to the number without actually knowing.

I just called them back and told them that i was already in college which i am. They have stopped calling sense.

How can you go about black listing them, numbers like this are not supposed to be able to call cell phones.

They call day after day, and don't talk when you answer, and they don't answer when you call back.

I know, they called me and said this was the board of education, and they asked if i was interested in college. And i said no, and they asked if i'm not going to school the next month. And all i said was yes, i told them i was going to middle school next year, and that was the truth. and i was surprised because i'm only 12 years old and they're no tsupposed to know my cell number, they're supposed to know my parents number, not mine. But i told my parents and they were a little suspicious. So next time they call me i will give the phone to my mom or dad, whoever is around. But i want to know who it really is. I wonder if they even know that i'm only 12 years old.

Just call them back and tell them you are already in college , if you are, and they will leave you alone.

they called 3 times in  one day, the third time i picked up and this guy asked for someone than hung up.
it was weird, so i cut my phone off for the rest of that day, the next day it said the last time they called was at 7:13 pm, its 3 pm now and they still havent called me back so far
