They call several times a week and when I answer there is no one there. It comes up on caller ID as "Allied Interstate"

I know you posted your message long time ago. Does anyone ever contacted the collect agency through this phone number. I also suffer from the attacks of 18663967770 number and I am sick of it. I just what it to stop!

866.396.7770 ..I have no idea who they are but they have called me every weekday around 8.30am for the past 2 weeks ..when u call back they do not answer.. I just added them to my contacts and gave them a silent ringtone..

allied interstate has called 3 times in past week from 866 396 7770 saying this is related to a past debt,goes to a french/english message that all agents are busy, keeps repeating then just cuts out.

googled them, supposed allied is in columbus ohio, can't find a number that gets answered.

They leave voice mail - very annoying.  They should be stopped.

This number keeps calling and leaving voicemails. When you call back the message is in English and French but no one answers. This is supposed to be a debt collector but i think its fraud.

I dont know who this is, however, they call too many times daily.

These people are calling my home and leaving a message about a debt.  I always pay my bills on time.  When I try to call back, it is a recorded message that says all of the operators are currently busy and to please hold for the next available operator.  I am on a do not call list and I also did not give any family member or friend permission to use my name as a contact person.  I would like these calls to stop.

This number calls my house everymorning at about the same time. (0830 pacific) No one ever answers when I pick it up, and they keep calling repeatedly. I hope to god im not being charged. I will be calling the phone Co. to have it blocked but would like to see that something is being done about this.

I agree that these folks must be scammers.  I have been receiving calls from this number for over a month now.  They call every morning at about 8:10 am.  If I let the phone ring, it records a message, if I pick up the phone the line goes dead.

I am on the national do not call list, and have filed a complaint with them.  If you're not on the list you should be, and you should also file a complaint to get these baste-wards out of our lives.

I also get calls EVERY DAY from them around 10:10am!  I always answer and no one is every there, I hear the phone hang up.  So I wonder if they just have to have so many "pick ups" for the reps to keep their job or what....but this is ridiculous.  My phone is a work line and it is really annoying!

I received a recorded message on my voicemail (which was partly chopped off)  from 1-866-396-7770, Allied Interstate. I looked the name up online and found out that Allied Interstate is  a collection agency. Apparently, it has been involved in several civil suits for harassing people who have no debt, so I am little concerned.

 I have no outstanding bills that have not been paid and have never borrowed money. Given some of the info on the Internet,  I was not sure if I should return the call. It seemed very possible that it might be  a scam.  I called anyway, assuming that I might be able to clear up a mistake . The operator asked for my phone number and if I knew someone, whose name I had never heard of,  (I have a good memory, so if I owed money to someone or there were some misunderstanding, I would know the name).

When I said that I did not know the person, she said that she would remove my name from the list, but that it might take 72 hours, (somehow I think I heard 79) hours for the number to be removed. When asked, she claimed that the woman (or man - the name was one of those names, where it could be either) was from Seattle. (I live in Seattle).   Because I had said that I did not know the person, she could not give more particulars.  So far, an uneventful story. I hope that there are no further developments

this number has been calling me everyday many times a day. It starts early morning regardless of weekend morning. about debu. I don't even own a credit card.

This number called my TEN YEAR OLD daughter's BRAND NEW cell phone this afternoon while she was still in school. I almost answered, but didn't get to it in time. Where in the heck would they have gotten the number?? Most of our family doesn't even have it - and the only reason my daughter has a phone is in case of emergencies because we do not have a landline. We've had it less than one month. They better hope they do not call her number again!
