Threatening to call all my references listed, they didn't say who they were. I am disabled and had brain surgery there is a lot of things I don't remember.

Same recording about calling my references but not explaining who they are and what this is about.

I am stupid to be scared by this junkie caller. Please if pick when they call you ....tell them junk and hung up

They are hackers, so what ever they say ignore it. Report to FCC.  They think they are smart by using some words and trying to scare you but not. Ignore it if you got voice mail too..

They are called Forward Movement Recovery. Search them on the internet. Do not fall for this. They buy old payday loans and then threaten you to pay a higher amount with wage garnishment, etc.

If they are a debt collector they did not use the proper verbage in the message left on my voice mail.  You can sue THEM for $1000 for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (or Fdcpa as they know it). Look it up and make yourself familiar with all of it! Then turn the tables on these bottom feeders!

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
