Man this sucks cuz i also gave into the stupid scam. i hung up twice and they called bak buggin me. he kept on insisting that i sign up for the magazine thing. the payment hasnt gone through so idk if they are going to take it out or i just got lucky. ill call and let my bank know. just nobody else give into their stupid scam!! plz

I'm so thankful I found this website. I was driving home from school and as I pulled in my driveway, I got a phone call from 866-796-1389. I got the whole speal that I'm entered into a sweepstakes for 25grand and a new sports car and whatever else the nice man said. Mind you, I just turned 18 and everything sounded fantastic. The man finally said my supervisor is going to come on and make sure everything is correct and ask you how I did and to make sure I told him "Lance" did a great job with his customer service skills. Oh he did alright, however, it was the "supervisor" who got under my skin. I told him i was very skeptical with giving my card number out to people over the phone and that i'd be fine sending a cashiers check since I work at a bank, no big deal. He said no to that. So I said I would call him back after I check up on the company and he said that would be fine if they had a number I could call him back on. I said well you can stay on the phone till I check you out on the internet. He waited and let me check, and ofcourse I found a bunch of negative things about them. I asked him several questions, and he preceeded to tell me how great their company is. I finally asked how I got out of the rotation of calling because when I hang up, I don't want to be called again. He hung up. It was just getting good.

Lol, I dont doubt you used to work there. Mr employed oct 2 ... if you paided attention to the company your working for you'd know summit reader services does exist .. the company it self had hired our call center to call on there behalf ... hence why we say we are with summit reader services . They dont have a state of the art call center and thats why they hire us . To increase the circulation of the magazines for the publishers . Its a bylaw that we state we are speaking on their behalf . If you google map the 138 e 12300 south st in draper utah you'd get a picture of the building with all of the services listed on the left hand side . Why your ranting and raving about taking the company down is a different thing all together . Maybe your mad you didnt make the cut couldnt handle the pressure or what not . Or just got straight sacked . Who knows who cares either way the company is monitored by the FCC daily as for we are doing business in the states we have to follow their laws. Any body else that reads this be sure to know that what he is claiming is just angery post because hes upset he no longer has his job pretty biased . I just got one question what room were you in 1 or 2?

just to let you know, if you want them to stop calling you, you can just tell them to put you in the "DO NOT CALL LIST" otherwise if you just hang up they will call you again.

I would not like anyone using my information it is against the law, and at 1st i went for it and gave them info now i regret can u help me with anything? please i need help from identity theft. thank you

i was called by summit readers servie out of utah. saying i was entered in a sweepstakes to win $20,000 a ford mustang, a trip to austraila and africa and magazine subscription. they have my credit card info, ss#, and phone #. how do i fix that,without them having any of my info. someone please help me. i have tried to call different #s no one answers. thanks

I received 4 calls from 866-314-5513 on the 18th, 2 from 866-961-9219 on the 19th, 8 from 866-457-8858 on the 19th, and 2 from 877-729-3976 on the 19th.  These people would not leave me alone! Finally a guy name Ryon talked to me the last time and after arguing with him for 17minutes he finally said he would cancel my order.  I was reading everyones posts on this website while I was talking to him and asked if they were based out of Canada and he never said he was but he would not say he wasn't either.  He kept asking me why I would give out my number (which was off of a gift card) if I didn't want to pay anything.  I told everyone I talked to from the beggining that I was not going to pay anything and he kept telling me that I did not say that.  I told him that I knew what I siad and that I was not going to make any payments! He told me I was lying through my teeth several times and I told him if it was all legit he wouldn't be treating people like that and he had nothing to say.  Try calling the 877 number thats the guy that finally cancelled my order.

summit reader services is just a scam as a matter of fact its not even a real company they juss tell ppl that so that after there done ripping them off ppl cant come find them and burn the place down or something. There not from utah and theres no watch nor any sweepstakes what so ever thats juss what they also tell you so that you stay on the phone longer so they can get you interested before they pitch you the product. Stop falling for this [***] man its not really funny at all.

A man calls me in the morning and tells me that I have been entered in to a 25000$ sweepstake,andthat I had won subscreiption for four magazines and a free men,s watch.He goes on to talk so much and very fast that at the end he was asking for my card number year of birth and expiry of of the card.Unfortunately he has part of my details including my debit card number, He asked for My SSN but I told him that I was a bit skeptical about him having my number because I started becoming suspicious. How can I stop them from carrying out further damages on my....??. By the way the number used was 866 961-9219 and spoke with a manI could barely understand who immediately refered me to 'supervisor'Curtis

how many times do they change there name and location???? because they were  called something else in nevada and again the name and location changed 4 times since this company started but the offer never changed! the Dream come true sweepstakes has been there since begining! I have been scamed by this same company. They told me that they were from bestpublic servies of Utah. Now I am trying to call my bank to cancel this. I asked them serveral times if they could cancel and they told me no. At first they made it out like my number was not going to be used for any kind of transaction and then just before I hung up with them, they finally told me "oh yea there is a fee of 39.81. I was so pissed and asked them several times if they could cancel it...no I have to cancel after the package which I don't want gets here and they will refund my money. Luckily I gave them a false card number. What a bunch of [***]!

Too late for me I feel for it what should I do. Please god help me.

i got a call from the dream come true sweepstakes also... i just got off the phone with them and they charged a dollar to my card so i called my bank to dispute the charges and cancel my card.
