- SO_STLOUISI ordered acai on Jan 27. The confirmation email said something about the free trial of 'Fit Factory'; called and told them I only ordered the pills and they convinced me to use the free trial. I just got off the phone with them because I haven't received the pills yet and she said, 'You're gonna have to just wait for them. I tried to cancel the 'Fit Factory' again, but she extended the free trial until 3.4.09; then she said, 'Since you haven't received the pills yet, I'll extend the free trial for the pills."
I said, 'Wait, the pills are paid for; 4.95 S/H."! She said the free trial period for the pills is different from 'Fat Factory'. (I guess that's the second bottle the previous person got charged for, 89 bucks or so!)
I wish they would try and charge me something extra because the joke will be on them.
The debit card I used was connected to my payroll checks for my part-time job. The only money on the card is from my check and you can only use what is on the card. I quit the job a month ago and only had 12.32 on the card!!
As soon as it warms up...I'm gonna just start walking to lose weight!!!
No trial period...no hidden fees!!! - gullible replies to BrandiThat is exactly what happen to me. I checked out the checking account and found a charge and didn't know where it came from. I guess I know better next time to give out my information for trial stuff. I have to wait until Monday to deal with this s--t. They better reimburse me.
- ETHEL SAMPEY replies to angelslionI have also fallen victim to this scam I also need to get my money back
Can you help me with a phone contact or something. - Angela| 2 repliesI am in the same boat as Jess. I have spoken with this Jamie girl a half a dozen times and get the run around. I am now going to go to the bank and see what they recommend.
- Alienriceball replies to Brandisame scam toll free number, 866-407-1022, and my charge was supposedly for a program the woman referred to as "Fit Factory". She claimed that I had agreed to purchase this program that would coincide with the "free trial" of Dri*Bromalite that I ordered. Which my $4.95 (S/H only) turned out to be TWO freaking charges of $69.95, separate from the expected $4.95. I called each place and got rather irate with them and insisted that I get a refund, which they both eventually provided, along with confirmation numbers which I WILL be sending along to my credit card company, written document, stating that I want my account credited. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!
- GLORIA replies to Kristendoes anyone have an auctual address for the fit factory part of this? they will not give me their address for i can file a complaint with the BBB

- Yep I am an Idiot replies to Brandi| 1 replyWhat a Scam, I will never order anything off of the internet again, as soon as I figured out what I had done I sent an e-mail the same day mind you to cancel everything, that was on November 30th! I too got all of these charges on my card and didn't know what they were because I thought I had cancelled right away, wrong. Now I have to close my account to stop this big bunch of BS. from stealing my money!!!!!!!!
- hazyp23 replies to Yep I am an IdiotI just called the "third party" that handles the accounts for Power Flush 500 & Price Limbo & I was told that they could cancle the renewel for the PowerFlush but that I had to wait 21 days before I could cancle the Price Limbo subscription that I didn't even know I was signed up for. Then they gave me the number for Fit Factory & when I called it (twice) the # was disconnected. I call the company back & they said that they could not help me & they also would not give me any information about where they were located. The guy didn't not sound like English was his primary language.

my details are at home but I will find who what and cancelation #
which I argued with the person on the phone didnt amount to a hill of beans anyway. - Birddee| 1 replyToday, 2/23/09, also had a credit card charge of $29.95, after a purchase of Bromalite. Called the 866-407-1022 and spoke to "Trish" who explained that by purchasing the Bromalite, one is automatically enrolled in the "FIT FACTORY". Explained to Trish that we did not enroll, and to re-fund that amount to our credit account. First, she tried to say that you have to disenroll from the FIT program, but you will still be charged that amount. Not in my life-time! "LET ME SPEAK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR, PLEASE!" She asked why, and I insisted on speaking to her supervisor...she then said let me check your account again, put me on hold, returned shortly, and said that she had removed us from the FIT FACTORY program, and will credit our credit account. Even got a "confirmation code!" This all started when Oprah said that you can get this stuff free and only pay the shipping...someone should tell "O" that she is endorsing a Scamming group.
- Anonym| 1 replyI just paid of my credit card with my income tax money. I just realized I was charged for the Acai burn and the bomite colon clenser. I just got off the phone, and they agreed to credit one of the bottles. I had to threaten to contact my lawyer. I just reviewed my statment today, and now I have a 29.95 free legal service charge on my credit card from (Self Help)I just called and got a credit for that to, PLEASE PEOPLE GET CONFIRMATIONS ON YOUR CREDITS WITH A CONFIRMATION NUMBER, TAKE DOWN THE NAME ALSO. I had to tell all of the companys I would have my lawyer contact them today if I did not receive credits. I am extremly pissed off, ant this had held up half of my day. I will never order diet products online ever again.
- Sarah replies to Brandisame thing happened to me..can you tell me who you called?
- Sue W. replies to BrandiI too was scammed. I filed a Complaint with the BBC of Nevada. It is Complaint No. 7679743. The contact's name is S. Campbell and his email address is scampbell@vegasbbb.org.
- Dawn replies to jessI have recently found out that I was also raped by SFLnutrition. I have also contact customer service representatives in the Philippines regarding fraudulent charges on my credit card. Charges for items I never received and for "international charges" as well. I have contacted the BBB as well as Fox News to post a blast on this company. I have also contacted my bank and informed them not to authorize any future transactions from this company. Beware! Not only will you incur charges you the yin yang from this company, but you will also find that your so called "trial bottle" will not provide you with any desired results. Don't even bother to order this stuff not matter how true the testimonials seem. This sh*t does not work!
- CARDSERVICESPeople please stop using these websites. There is nothing free. I get a call once a day about this very thing. Just stop using them, they are scams!!!!
- Nancy| 2 repliesI ordered the Acai Berry and the colon cleanse and canceled my free trials, but my cards were still charged for both products (which I never received) and my billing informatio was sold to some wwwselfhelp site and I'm still being charged $29.95/mo. My bank fraud department got me refunds on the Acai and colon products, but I'm still trying to get refunds of the wwwselfhelp charges. And I had to cancel my card so no further charges can be put through. What a hassle.
- Nancy replies to Nancy| 1 replyWell, that didn't take too long. Just speak slowly and calmly and refuse to accept their statements that they can't refund fees already charged. I stated I canceled the Bromalite within the time period, but they stated they are a seperate company. I asked where in the Bromalite contract did their name appear (which of course it doesn't). They cite a clause under the Time Period and Billing (in all caps): "I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS CONSUMER TRANSACTION INVOLVES A NEGATIVE OPTION AND THAT I MAY BE LIABLE FOR PAYMENT OF FUTURE GOODS AND SERVICES..." I asked jokingly, "Is your company called "Negative Option?" Then I guess I didn't order anything from you. This clause doesn't contain a company or product name and doesn't state what goods and services you would be liable for. They finally cooperated. If that doesn't work, you might suggest reporting the company to the New York attorney general (they are based in NY) for mail fraud and wire fraud, you might get some cooperation.
- Ken replies to NancyMy wife is a big Oprah fan and fell for this thing hook, line a sinker! So far, in the span of 10 days, we have had three charges in amounts of $2.95, $29.95 and $79.96, all for "services" that I have no idea what they represent. Fortunately, the bank we use is one of the best in the business, keeps fastidious records including merchant phone #'s, etc. They also make it easy to dispute charges such as these, which puts the burden of proof on the merchant, instead of us. We cancelled that charge account so the next time they try to charge us again, the laugh will be on them!
I agree with the previous posts that suggest Oprah be notified she's indirectly leading people to scams such as these. Maybe I can convince my wife to notify her?
