- Ken replies to NancyMy wife is a big Oprah fan and fell for this thing hook, line a sinker! So far, in the span of 10 days, we have had three charges in amounts of $2.95, $29.95 and $79.96, all for "services" that I have no idea what they represent. Fortunately, the bank we use is one of the best in the business, keeps fastidious records including merchant phone #'s, etc. They also make it easy to dispute charges such as these, which puts the burden of proof on the merchant, instead of us. We cancelled that charge account so the next time they try to charge us again, the laugh will be on them!
I agree with the previous posts that suggest Oprah be notified she's indirectly leading people to scams such as these. Maybe I can convince my wife to notify her? - Unhappy replies to momz98I wished I had researched better.
1. I didn't use either product when I noticed auto bills on each
2. I returned both promptly but charges started and kept being posted to my checking account.
3. I called the number my bank provided me with, could barely communicate with the individual on the other end due to poor english. They wouldn't cancel until I became nasty and explained that they had a scam going and I would contact the BBB if they didn't refund and cancel ASAP.
4. I was given cancellation confirmation codes and assured a refund....we will see. - BobNoticed a $29.95 charge on my checking account from an unknown online company (selfhelpffcom800). Wife subscribes to Self magazine, but this has nothing to do with the above situation. somehow from an online order back in JAN, they "claim" we agreed to join the "fit factory" website with a 14 day free preview. they also claim we never cancelled, so now we are being charged for this program. NO CLUE what they are talking about. NO CLUE how they received my information, but not HAPPY :( Talked to a customer service supervisor Kim West (??) who claimed I would get a refund for the charges, but only did so after I mentioned BBB, and police actions being taken. Received a confirmation email regarding the refund. but we will see if it actually happens.
- DM| 2 repliesI ordered the "free trial" of acai pure and colon cleanse supplements for $4.95 shipping/handling each. I did some belated online research while I was waiting for the products to arrive and read about all the problems people were having with these companies. I promptly called to cancel both orders before the trial period ended. It took several calls and emails to get through to someone. My emails to support on the colon cleanse pro website bounced and I couldn't get an answer on the phone for over a month (I called every day at different times of day). I was able to email someone from the acai pure company, and she was very rude. I finally managed to get all the charges reversed on my credit card after threatening complaints to the BBB. The very next statement, however, I had a new charge from this phone number with the description "wwwselfhelpffc00 of 00" for $29.95. I called 866-407-1022 and was disconnected 3 times. I finally reached a very nice gentleman in Utah who agreed to cancel my subscription stating I wouldn't receive any more charges. He said I had signed up for the service in the terms and conditions section of the acai pure order. I happened to have printed the order page, there is absolutely no mention of a website. I'm tired of arguing with these companies, so I'm going to eat the $29.95 and call it a lesson learned. I did inform him that these 2 companies are scams and explained my whole experience with them. Also let him know the companies change their website every 2 weeks so by the time you go to look up the fine print to see if you really did miss something, it has all changed. I wouldn't have believed that one if I hadn't printed out the original screens from the website when I ordered. I hope this is finally the end of it.
- Rich replies to BrandiAdd me to the list of individuals scammed by this website. The "free" product is only free if you return it within 21 days. Otherwise, they charge you $80 for the free product, and charge you every month after for another bottle. By the way, the product was not effective and caused my heart to race. After I cancelled the product within the first month, I was still charged for the "use" of the website for $29.95. When I called and threatened to call the Better Business Bureau and Commerce Department they offerred to process my refund. However, based on the other posts here, it will be easier to cancel my credit card, so I do not have to deal with these people again. Thanks for your posts.
- KarolGot a charge from this phone number - I am reporting to the bank.
I think that it is related to Bromalite - don't go there - Karol bondy replies to DMI saw a charge from this company for 29.95 - I think that they are getting info like CC information from Bromalite.
I soo tried to call them and of course the phone doe snot work telling me to call back in 2 hours. Baloney! Scam - KarolI got scammed as well after ordering Bromalite - which did not work, incidentally. I suspect a connection to the seflhelppff charge that appeared on my card today. This is thr first adn last time I will get scammed.
Advice - call you credit card company ASAP- they are aware of these clowns and get yoyr accouont changed before any further damage.
I did receieve Bromalite free trial and a charge for $69.95 which was stipulated on the "contract" Now it makes me wonder what it was that I was taking after all. Down the sink with remaining product!
Please googe the phone number and report the scam as well
Lesson learned - no free trials - no free lunch - Karol replies to BirddeeChange your CC number and report it. they are aware of these clowns
- AngiI also ordered the "free" trial of Acai Noni Burner. Along with this came a subscription to a website called Fit Factory. When I subsequently cancelled the Acai subscription, I mistakenly assumed that it would cancel everything. Boy was I wrong!! I didn't notice the @29.95 charges for 2 months and by then they wouldn't refund it all. They only gave me back one month's charges and said I was supposed to call a separate number to cancel it.
- Angi replies to DMDM,
Your situation matches mine to the letter!!! The only difference was that I didn't pay attention to my bank statement until it was too late! So I now have to eat $60. - vic replies to Brandii know!! it been doing it for months and i didn't even know it! i'm calling after work today..this is horrible...i better get all my money back!
- grldollies| 1 replyI have been fighting them for months get them off my MC. They change thier name it is as of Feb. WWWSELFHELPFFC00 OF 00 866-4071022 NV
I hope this info helps someone!
This is some of the info I sent my CC Co.
I am being charged a recurring charge that I did not authorize, I authorized a shipping charge in Dec 24,2008 for $4.95 for a free sample Acaipure. ($3.95 free sample of Colon Cleanse $89.31) The product Acaipure came from was originally called Fic-fac.com (wwwselfhelpffcc00) and was associated w/a Dr. - Dynamic Health Products Inc. from Largo. 12399 Belcher Rd suite 140 Largo Fl 33773 On line when you order both the Colon Cleanse and Acaipure Advertised on Fox News web site you think you are getting a free sample and paying shipping - I was not shown any other terms or agreement. There was not any disclaimer that you picked ok too. Just a simple order area & you put your card info & address on. Nothing else!
I called them Fic-fac.com / Dynamic Health Products Inc(wwwselfhelpffcc00) on 1/20/09 1-800-660-8489 & the other company (Suppleman Davie/Ft Lauderdale Fl – Sandy Ut)
I returned both items to both company’s and asked them not to put me on any auto plan and I informed them I never authorized any auto plan. They both said OK send their product back – both gave me an address to ship products back and I would get a credit and will not be charged again and be on a plan.
Acaipure / Dynamic Heath Systems also said they were not assoc w/ fit-fac any more. I returned product 1/21/09 by USPS it was delivered on 1/22/09 6:47am Largo Fl. The other colon cleanse/suppleman shipped from me on 1/21/09 arrived Ft Lauderdale on 1/23/09 forwarded to another Ft. Lauderdale on 1/24/09 and again forwarded to SANDY Ut on 2/2/09 12:47pm USPS.
I suspect both products are peddled from the same multi named company in Nevada/Utah area. I put a letter in both packages “As per our conversation today, I am returning your product _______ back to you, along with the understanding that no more shipments, further service /auto billing will take place. Please remove me from your mailing list”.

From another complaint site I found this info
First off call your bank and cancel your credit card, also immediately file a Chargeback. If they receive enough chargebacks it will screw up their merchant account and get them blacklisted. Don't bother calling the numbers or live chat it is totally useless. Anyways here's some info on these people:
The people who run this whole scam operation are:
JUAN ZUETTA (Runs the whole show, tells everyone what to do)
ANTHONY PELLEGRINO (Designs the scam websites, graphics, etc.)
VLADISLAV SKORO (Programmer who maintains entire scam e-commerce system, domains, server, etc.)
SERGIO PADRON (Funds the whole operation and has already been blacklisted by VISA/MasterCard for chargebacks)
DIEGO D. RODRIGUEZ

- gertti replies to grldolliesYou can add another name to the scam, MYFITNESS 1-800-576-9441. Their another run off from BROMILITE. Their machine IDS them as CLICKINCOME, so the names keep rolling. These people are better than good, they are the vomit of our society. If you have ordered anything from any of these toilet sucking pranksters cancel your card account NOW. Thanks for making their names public, I hope they end up where they belong in the tank with the rest of the toilet suckers.
- CTgirlYesterday I realized that I have been also charged $29.95... by WWWSELFHELPFFC00 OF 00 866-4071022 NV and I had no idea what that was. So I just called to find out that i have been charged that amount for a FitFactory subscription. I told them I won't be needing it and the guy on the phone said that because I am calling after the 21 day trial, they could cancel my account but I won't get a refund. "Is that so, please let me talk to your supervisor"!!! all he said was "ok, the customer satisfaction is very important to as, blah blah" So, finally the fir factory account is canceled and I am getting a refund...
- Selfhelp is a SCAM replies to AngelaThe cancellation number is 866-407-1022. Just got off the phone with them and recieved a confirmation # for my cancellation but we'll see if I actually get the credit.
When I purchased the ACAI they said this site was a complimentary. Never mentioned a trial period. I repeatedly asked if I would be charged and they say NO, it was complimentary and I could use it even if I returned the trial of ACAI. I'm completely over all this b.s. I just wanted to try the ACAI and I got scammed into 2 additional trials that I wasn't aware of. Never agin!!! - Rose replies to diana| 1 replyThere should be a phone number under the charge on your card.
I just called and told them to take the 29.95 charge off. Supposedly they have and its just showing up on my account but I am keeping track and taking names.
Good luck - Maryland replies to BrandiThanks for the posting. I found the same phone number and $29.95 charge on my credit card statement. Without your posting, I wouldn't have even known what company I was calling! They answered the phone "customer service" and when I asked the name of the company I called, the operator couldn't (or wouldn't)tell me. Funny thing is, the charge showed up on my credit card AFTER I canceled my Acai Berry Detox order! Of course, they couldn't find me in their database and, when they finally did, had no record of my cancellation... even after I provided the cancellation confirmation number! Had to threaten to report them to the authorities before they agreed to refund the $29.95. Just hope the refund comes through without further incident...
- Joan replies to PISSED OFFI just went through my bank statement & found 2 charges for this A-diet crap. I took it for 2 weeks an now have an ulcer. I've not contacted anyone yet, since I just found this. Did you/anyone have results-bad/good?
