- just trying to help| 2 repliesI work at a large manufacturing plant. Received a message from "Verby" that stated she was looking for someome at the plant, but no one by the name she gave works here. She said she was with US Airways, and he needed to call back as soon as possible at 866-408-4070 because it is very important. I called the number to try to figure out who she was looking for, if the person does actually work here. The automated voice on the phone kept requesting my SS number, which I never entered. Finally, by ignoring all the prompts, I reached a living person, and requested Verby. She didn't know of anybody by that name, but said she could help. She wanted my phone number, so I gave her the plant number. Then she said she couldn't find any record us her company calling the number I gave her. It was all very strange!

- Butch| 5 repliesReceived a message on phone to call the ref phone numbere due to a problem with my credit card I call and a automated phone asked me for my ss# to access my credit card info. I entered ss@, dummy me, but that also did not access my account. A lady then came on the line and said that they could not find me in the computer and asked me for my credit card # which I then told them this conversation is now over and promptly hung the phone up. No more calls. Not feeling warm about giving my ss#. WHAT IS WITH THIS JUNIPER BANK ??

- Pissed in TN| 1 replyI got a new telephone number two weeks ago. In this span of time, I have received multiple calls from 866-408-4070 for a person that I do not know, and does not live here. They told me that I have to send them a letter stating that I am not the person that they are calling, and I do not know this person or the calls will continue. Why do I have to take MY time to write them a letter? Is this legal? how is this not harassment on their part? This is only yet another example of the scum bags involved in the banking industry. I only wish that the feds had refused to bail this inbreed jerks out. Bring back the old days of placing such reprobates in jail, taring and feathering, etc. I love the smell of melted tar in the morning.....

- bob| 6 repliesYea I have this bank through my credit card but this is not the card company. I didn't call back because first off the caller ID said Thompson which has no affiliation with Juniper. It's fake and im also a lawyer, and in my knowledge there is nothing you can do about it unless you can prove that there taking advantage of your Social Security number and causing you credit problems such as fraud.
- Caller: Thompson

- concerned| 1 replyGot a call from this number and she would only identify herself as "customer support".
- concerned mom| 3 repliesI keep getting calls that are unknown or withheld on my cell phone and they are looking for my daughter!! First there is no reason that they would have my phone number for her so it was suspicious to me right from the get go. I told them I wasn't Jennifer and they asked for her number which I refused to give to them, if they were legitimate they'd have her number. The second issue is that I get a different answer each time I ask what they are calling in regards to. Several times they said they were customer service calling about her Juniper Visa and then today I was told it was customer service with Barclay's Bank. My daughter doesn't have accounts with any of these company's, she did call back the 1-866-408-7020 number and got a text message on her cell asking her to verify information (which she didn't). This is obviously some sort of scam and there has to be some agency that can make it stop.
- Caller: Juniper or Barclay's
- connie| 1 replyRepeated calls from an automated voice claiming to be calling about my Travelocity mastrer card. Finally I pushed some random numbers and a person with an East Indian accent came on the line and asked for my phone number, which I reluctantly gave, then for the last 4 digits of my social which I refused. He said he was with Barclay's Bank which is not the bank I have my card through. When I asked if this was a scam he laughed and said no, and asked for my SSN again. I asked him for a phone number to call back to verify that this was really a bank calling, and he gave me this number!
- Marm| 1 replyGot a call from this number today at work. Caller identified herself as "Rein" with Bank of Delaware. I have no dealings with this bank so refused to give her any information.

- JMReceived a call on my cell phone from this number while I was at work - didn't recognize it, so it was not answered. I have received letters from collection agencies (junk debt buyers) for Juniper/Barclays and have always disputed them asking these agencies to validate and to cease calling. I have been a victim of fraud as there is another member of my family with the same name and it has caused many a problem!!! No agency has been able to validate this debt to me to this day - they have never even attempted to send any kind of correspondence trying to make any attempt to validate at all - they just simply sell it off to another junk debt buyer and it starts all over again - I'm assuming that this is probably the same situation as the last junk debt buyer still has not made any attempts at validation and it is probably just another junk debt buyer that bought the debt and is going off of bad records AGAIN...
- Call type: Debt collector
- ScottI get 3 to 4 calls from Barclays each day looking for someone who apparently used to have my phone number. They have told me at least 75 times that they will remove my number...and even go so far to say that the records show that the number has been removed but their auto-dialer is calling it anyway. What CRAP! I talked to a manager who said the same thing and was completely unwilling to help. She told me to call 866-408-4070 to talk to someone else. B*TCH
