This is a follow up of my message from 17 August 2009.  We keep getting calls from 866-408-4070, telling us to call an 800 number for an important message - all I got was a recorded message instructing me to recite my account number (don't have one) OR my SS number (ain't gonna happen)!  Today, with the help of Mastercard, and Juniper bank I was able to find out that neither one of them have any record of my wife having an account of any kind with them - so, yeah - it's a scam!  Too bad the New York State Attorney Generals office doesn't care enough to do something about it!  Watch your step with these dirt bags - if you call them, and they ask for your Mastercard account number, and / or your SS number - and you give them either - you're going to be "taken to the cleaners"!!!

Get at least six calls a day from 1-866-408-4070.  They call from 8:00 in the morning to 9:00 at night.  Never leaving a message.

repeated collection calls for over 6 months for someone by the name of Marla Mall to my home number. requested to be removed serveral times and have not and now consider all calls received harrassment. will now send a certified letter to Customer Service C/S Barcley Bank PO Box 8833 Wilmington Delaware 19899-8833

I getting several calls per day and even on Sunday from this phone number, never leaving a message. After I called a voice comes up saying "Thank you for calling customer support" and they want either my CC number or my SSN to punch in. I did not enter any and hung up. I know for sure that a CC company would ask for my SSN, so for me that is fraud.

Where can I report this people and stop the harassment?

It is Barclay Bank which is associated w/ a few different card lines, mine is Juniper Visa which I got thru Itunes...they are [***].  They offered me a rate reduction rate and said I would pay $50 a month from now on, once I paid $167.  I did so and here they are ringing me asking me for $169 more.  I hate them.  They always have Indian people and Chinese people answering the phone that have no idea what you're talking about minus the prompts they read from...good luck w/ this bank.

1-866-408-4070 is a number owned by Barclays Bank Delaware also known as JUNIPER Bank. They handle US Airways Mastercard, Barnes and Noble, Airtran Airways, Juniper MC, Juniper Visa, iTunes Credit Cards, Barclaycard. They are located in Wilmington, DE. This is being posted to clarify the claim that this is a scam number or a telemarketing number.

This is not fraud. You might wanna check your voicemail if it announces your fullname and if not definitely no message will be left for you. This is a genuine number for Barclays Bank Delaware. you probably have an account with them. I would suggest you not punching in your info if you're skeptical about it. There's another option to do it. Or maybe call the number that is written on the back of your card just to be safe. And if the rep can't service you I'm pretty sure you will be transfered to the right one.

got a call from this number on our personal cell phone. i called it back it kept prompting ssi # said it couldnt find it in database. got a man with a cheesy ny accent on the line, hans , he is a phillipino working in the phillipines, said it is barclay bank based out of delware USA but they had noone there in delaware to speak with , i reamed his ass. it is a fraud, said it was credit card collections, we dont even have any credit cards, never have. now will have to keep an eye on credit. freakin idiots.

I receive 8 to 10 calls a day from this number and I think it has to do with Barclays, USAIR visa that was tranfered from Bank of America.  I gave the girl over a month ago the numbers to call for information but they still call my number and it is very harassing.  I have to take my phone off the hook.  Does anyone know what can be done to stop this kind of harrassment?  The calls start at 8am and end around 9pm.  The one time I spoke with a woman and gave her the information to contact the primary card holder, she barely spoke english.  Let me know what others have done to stop this.

These people call my house all day everday starting at 8:00 am in the morning until night time. I have never answered any of there calls. Do not leave a message on the answering machine. don't know of any account with this bank at all. Just wish they would stop calling.

I keep getting repeated calls frm this number and when I answer no one says anything.

They call my girlfriends cell looking for "adam". We don't know him, don't have any credit cards with this company, don't know why they have her number and have told them numerous times. If you want to talk to someone live call the numbner they leave you, the one that promts for your #ss and just sit on the line a couple minutes and it will connect. I talked to a guy and he said he would delete the her number from the account and the calls would stop. ..... They called 20mins later. Unbelievable. I'm waiting for them to call back and if they do I'm going to start calling them every half and hour until they stop. Someone start a class action lawsuit and send me something to sign up.

recieved several calls on my cell phone, one at 11:57 am and another at 2:11 pm, no one knows this number but friends and family. I would not answer the phone, for I pay for each call that comes in or out on my cell phone. I would like to know what this number is connected to so that they would stop making calls to me.

Immediately after being given a company cell phone at work I started getting calls from these people. Some have no caller ID and some have 866-408-4070. After telling four different people my story, and them telling me they will "correct their records", I got two call yesterday on a Sunday. Guess I will either have to have the number changed, or just have some fun with them when they call. I know they will not stop calling.

This is a call either from Juniper or Barclays Bank.  I don't know which cards they issue, but the customer rep said it was regarding a LukOil credit card.

These people have been calling my home phone three to six times an hour !They are JUNK debt buyers sometimes buying $12,000 debts for $25 !But the debts are almost always 10 to 12 years old when they get them .They continue to harrass me because I have the same first and last name of a person who lived in the same city 15 years apart .The regulations they follow MAKE you provide WAY too much personal information OVER THE PHONE to strangers to require them to stop !

The way to get this over dial *67-866-408-4070 (The star 67 prefix blocks your phone number from being read by them)and when the automated system answers press random numbers until the system transfers you to a live person then when they ask for your info.such as your phone number "answer THURSDAY" or your account number "answer 7" If enough people tie up their phone system maybe we can drive them as NUTS as they drive us !!!
