It's the ACLU (American Center for Law and Justice) calling.  I just called this 800 number below and asked to be put on their Do Not Call list.  They were polite and apologized for the calls.

This ia ACLJ (American Center For Law And Justice). They are a pain in the ass.  They have been harassing me for years.  I sure would do nothing to help them.

I highly suggest anyone being harassed by these people call the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and file a complaint with them... nothing is going to change and they are not going to stop unless the are made to stop this bullying and that will require the FTC investigating. They must hear from us in order to fully grasp the magnitude of this behavior... bottom line if no one takes the less than 10 minutes to call and file a complaint it will never stop, there is strength in numbers. The ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice) is counting on us not coming together as a group to stand up and say enough is enough! The FTC complaint phone number is: 1-877-FTC-HELP or 1-877-382-4357.

Calls coming almost daily, some days twice...called the ref #...got a recording....Their hours are Mon - Fri  hrs of ?????..If that is correct, why bother us on our days off....Fed up with ACLJ.

Followed the directions and it took me to their "remove from their call list" area.  Thank you so much for sharing how to get off their phone list!

This person called my number, asked for my wife and then hung up.

They have been callling off and on for several weeks with various numbers.  I told them to stop calling but to no avail

(866) 430-8734 and (866) 348-8647 and (202) 607-2557 are all phone numbers for the
"American Center for Law and Justice" (not to be confused with the ACLU).

To stop these annoying phone calls, just call (866) 348-8647 and press #1....(you do not have to listen to the message), then press #3 and it will ask for your 10-digit phone number to be removed from their list. Please note: It can take up to 30 days. If the calls do not stop, report them to the FTC.

They call several times each week. Will call from this toll free number, then call from a actual number that gices their name ACLJ.  I appreciate the work they do, BUT goodness all the calls, REALLY??? I am taking donations too!!!  ACLJ, to you want to donate to me? We have no insurance, and my husbands pay has been cut to 2/3. You could write it off as a charity donation?

The ACLJ is fighting against all the terrrible things the ACLU is trying to do.  You should go to the ACLJ website and read  what they are fighting against.  You would be making a big mistake to support the things the ACLU  is trying to do in this country.  Why don't you get some info before you say a stupid thing like supporting the ACLU.
