ACLJ = bad; ACLU = good.  The first one promotes a religious-based conservative agenda; the second one supports constitutional freedoms for everyone, regardless of their political or religious leanings.  (They took up for Oliver North, for example.)  But I don't want solicitation calls from EITHER organization.

This number has been calling every day for the past couple of weeks.  866-4308734.  Thank you all for your suggestions on how to cancel them.  I also phoned them back and could not reach an operator but followed the instructions by requesting more Information by pressing 1 and then option 3 to remove my phone number from the list.  It will be so nice to not receive these phone calls any longer.  Thank you!

While I agree with most of the American Center for Law and Justice positions, their continued use of robo-calling tactics is inexcusable.

I was in the shower when ACLJ phoned — at 8:29 a.m. — dragging me out of the shower because I thought it might be an update on the condition of my grandson who is ill.

While operating within the letter of the law, ACLJ's behavior is unethical and abhorrent. I will not continue to support *any* organization that contacts me several times a day — for days on end *every* time they have a bee up their bonnet. I'll stay on ACLJ's email list for now. I have written Jay Sekulow at jsekulow@aclj.org — I'll update this post if he should deem to respond. *If* the calls don't stop, I will have my attorney contact Mr. Sekulow et al *and* the FCC with my incoming call logs.

I get calls from this number frequently--some times, several times a day--and no one is on the other end--the line stays open for a few seconds, then call ends.  This is very annoying, and I have a non-pub number, and I am on the federal no call list.  So much for the stop gaps in the "system".

This number (as well as the other 8664308734) are from the ACLJ (American Center for Law & Justice).

To be removed from their computer call list you need to call 1-800-296-4529 and ask to be removed from their computer database.  I spoke with a lovely woman named Gail who said it would take up to 24 business hours for this to happen and she apologized, explained the computer is set to call.  Very gracious lady.  

I pray it does happen because this is so annoying.

No message left, I tried calling the number back, it says that number cannot be reached from my area!! And then they just hung up. How were they able to call ME???

After reading all the posts spread over the past 6 months, I do understand and sympathize with everyone being upset at too many calls, annoying timing, etc. etc. Please see the Bigger Picture with a Heart of compassion, God's Heart, by His Spirit.

I worked in Hollywood TV & FILM Productions 30 yrs. and now own and operate my own Production Co., At one time I worked with TBN (Orange Co. Broadcast Center) at a high level for a couple of years and I personally worked with 'Jay Sekulow' the Founder and Chief Counsel of ACLJ. We worked together on TV broadcasts before they started doing their own shows.  I can tell you with certainty, that If Jay personally knew of the situation with the (independent hired call center) upsetting so many people, he would see to it that all of it changes, and 'apologize to all of you'. That is Who he is! He is the real deal, led by God to do an Incredibly difficult job in even more difficult times.
Please understand by the Spirit of God and not Self (flesh natural minded- me focused) that the U.S. Supreme Court, Israeli affairs, U.S. Government affairs, rights of people including all of you, etc. etc. all that Bigger Picture has the ACLJ over worked and under paid. The call center they hired to do the work which all the businesses of today subscribe to, is not in the ACLJ's world of daily affairs nor are they even aware of the call center over burdening those who have been repeatedly called.

So please do 'not allow' the dark side to enter in through Self absorbed flesh (me me me I don't like I am not happy, judge condemn, anger, etc. etc.), thus causing 'division' or 'ending support for', nor bad mouthing the ACLJ!
That is exactly what the World who hates Jews and Christians dislikes so much about 'so called' Christians, they fight each other more than overcoming the dark side of this world, then they hypocritically tell the World what is wrong with them and the World needs Their God. Whaaa?
The World laughs, the dark side basks in it all. Anger, Division, Flesh ruled rather than 'Spirit' Lived and Led.
The Spirit and Love of God cures it all, but only when we Die to Self and are Reborn in the Resurrected Life of Christ living and expressing HIM self through His kids, 'Mature' in Relationship with God, (not toddlers throwing fits) .

The World does not know The Real Supernaturally Powerful Unconditional Loving GOD because of the (natural mind self flesh based) bickering and in fighting, judging and condemning, then hypocritically expecting the World to WANT THAT!  I don't think so.

I will continue working with and supporting the ACLJ no matter how many times they inconvenience me. It's Not All About ME!
It IS All About HIM and the ACLJ is Anointed by HIM as the #1 Law Firm for Judeo-Christian Rights and who are aware of these End Times and how to Support Unity of Israel and Christians, a HUGE Deal in these days, to put it Mildly!
