Anyone called the number? Who is it?

It is a scam collection company.  I missed a payment on a product and then paid the bill.  A year later this company called and said I still needed to make the payment.. .. Unreal.  They try to make you prove you still dont owe the money.  It is unreal what companies are doing.

I've received a letter that said I didn't make a payment for my purchasing.
Acutally, I made all the payment that I mistakenly missed 2 years ago.
The company is a scam.

OMG!  This IS a scam.  I bought the WORX Lawn trimmer A YEAR AGO!  They only deducted one payment and NOW they come after me for the rest.  [***]!  I will NEVER buy anything off of T.V. again!

My husband never bought a trimmer through the mail much less this company and now we have a bill for something from last year?  I want to know what I can do to stop this company....

They are claiming I bought "Your baby can read" on August 5, 2008. I have never even heard of such a program for kids much less ordered it. SCAM SCAM SCAM!

866-354-WORX (9679) and told them if I owe them money to show me proof or they can have the trimmer back and we can call it even!

Recieved a call from Anita, to please return her call, no
mention of what it was about, have not bought a lawn trimmer, can't think of anyone I owe.
wont return the call.

I received a call from this number at 9:26 am this morning, it actually woke me up out of my sleep but I didn't answer because it looked suspicious, also they did not leave me a voicemail which was questionable...looking back, this number may have popped up before once or twice, but even then I didn't answer being that im very skeptical about numbers that I don't recognize.
All in all I decided to outsmart this whole wondering who they were in general by googling their number and trying to link them to a business, glad I did that because it brought me to this site, even if it hadn't I was still going to, where there's a will there's a way.
Bottom line don't answer suspicious numbers but if you do and they're trying to sell you something-hang up, or google them before you decide if you'll pick up or not,  last but not least, if they never leave a msg then something can't be right, most ppl leave their company name, name, ext, etc...hope this helps.

voicemail on cell phone from "anita" saying i need to return her call and no reason or explanation of why she was even calling?? i called right bk and a woman answered but said the name of company way too fast. so hung up and called again, the same thing happend. spoke to fast and low for me to understand who it was i was calling. wondering if i should call again and ask questions but afraid they will in turn keep calling?? what should i do?

i received a bill from company named THE COTOUR w saying my acount was past due for the merchandise ordered i called that number wich appears on the fake bill and asking witch merchandise they talk above if its a tv a vcr maybe a dvd player or car stereo or a tickt for an circus got no answer she said was an merchandise guess wat ITS A SCAM 1866 441 4728 DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY FOR THOS A**S H***

received a letter from "rockwell power tools" with this 866-441-4728 number on the letter, stating my account was past due for a power tool i supposedly purchased on april 3, 2009, online or otherwise.  they are allegedly in po box 406, frmngdale, Ny 11735.  I have never purchased any tools from this company and am hesitant to call back just in case its one of those international companies that charges u $2000/min.  Has anyone else received a letter?

This is scam company - anyone reported them?

Company claimed that there is unpaid bill for my wife - for something she bought through ebay and paid by paypal. She called them.
Asked credit card # 'to verify transaction' - dispite the fact that my wife bought from someone - not from them...

I've received emails from this so called company. They asked for me to call that number (18664414728) due to an issue with my credit card. Like an idiot, I gave them my credit card number and sent a check for the invoice they had sent due to a balance for Your Baby Can.  If anyone has any info on these scumbags, it would be great to know.

Received email regarding purchase of SIMPLEXITY. I don't even know what that is.

Got a letter from Express Response saying I owed them money. I bought it on ebay and it has nothing to do with them. When I called the number (which I shouldn't have done because they now have my tel # from caller ID) they asked for my credit card number! No way! Looks like they are sending massive amounts of these fake invoices to a mailing list they got from somewhere.

The number belongs to Express Response, a 3rd party collection agency in New York. Not much info, even when you have access to public records, but here is what I have:
