It is collection office, but they never answer calls.

So glad I found this website after a search on google for the phone number 1-866-441-4729

Here's the story, I ordered a Cricut Expression machine in December 2009 on ebay and paid with paypal. The seller shipped fast and the machine is great and I'm still using it with no problems.

Summer of 2010 I got a collection letter from a company called SKO Brenner saying I owed money so I called them and they asked for my mailing address, telephone # then he insisted I give them my credit card number for verification but it didn't make sense so I didn't. I faxed them my paypal receipt then called back but he said the fax didn't show up so I faxed again twice and they still didn't get it. I figured they just wanted to get my money so I didn't call back.

Not two weeks later the junk mail starts showing up. I'm talking about cruises, insurance offers, credit card offers and a whole bunch of stuff. That's easy to deal with,just toss it in recycling but then the telemarketing calls were increasing weekly, I got calls as early as 6am on a Sunday! I guess they're in really different timezone.That's when I made the direct link with the calls that I made to them, they are now selling or passing on all my information to other companies! This has to stop! I'm even on the Do Not Call list!

The calls and junk mail started to die down near the end of 2010 then I get another collection letter froma different company called Express Response in January 2011 and I foolishly called them and again they asked for my address, tel # then the credit card again but I didn't give it and had a sinking feeling I was going to go through the same thing again. Yep. The telemarketing calls started all over and so did the junk mail. These scammers seem to be posing as collection agencies just to build a mailing list to send crap.

Sorry for the long winded post but I just wanted to save others from grief. Don't call them back or contact them, these scammers will call you every waking hour!

They are telling me I owe $79.90 for something I never ordered.  I don't have a credit card and they told me I ordered something from a credit card that I don't have.  The told me this would all go away if I paid and they told me to have my parents pay if I didn't.  FRAUD!!!!!  They were the rudest people I have ever spoken to.  They told me if it was fraud why didn't I report it to the police.  What the heck are the police going to do.  I asked for the credit card information, they wouldn't give it to me.   I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau along with Ab Rocket which is acussing us of purchasing the equipment.  They are telling me to send it back which is fine by me but I am not going to pay $40 to send something back that I didn't buy in the first place.  I guess they figure they will send stuff to you and it is easier just to pay then not.  It's a piece of junk, don't buy it.!!!

I received a letter from these jerks today saying that I owed them $39.97 and that it is past due. I never bought anything from them. They said I bought Worx Yard Tools.  (Not)  I get free tools from National Gardening that I am allowed to keep after trying them out. I'm going to write to this company rather than call them so they don't get my phone number. The letter head was "EXPRESS RESPONSE" WTF

It's to late for me know seeing this. But I was a victim of this company couple days ago. I was receiving calls from 1866 441 4732 number and i didn't answered it. on 6/7/2011 I did and this is what was told.

Agency: Can I have your account number?
Me: Who are you? whats your company name?
Agency: Express Rsonse we are collection agency, you have an outstanding balance with Beach Bum Tanning and it has to be paid, if not your account will be closed.
Me: What do you mean I have scheduled monthly payment.
Agency: Your last payment did not go through due to nonsuficient funds. And we need your to make a payment.
Me: Ok, let me check with the salon.
Agency: Your payment has to go through us, your account was assigned to us.
Me: Ok this is my credit card...........

and it happened.

After receiving statement from bank I check and saw that now payment was missing, all payments were made on 2nd or 3rd every month. I called Beach Bum Tanning and they say that the don't use any agency and that they collect money by them self.


AND NOW I GOT SCREW AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!! EVEN THAT I'M BEING CARE FULL STUPID MISTAKE AND I LOST $79.90.

BEWAAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

I just received the same letter. POBox in Frmngdale, NY. and no i did not misspell.  That is how they typed it on the letter.  I figured this was a scam because I saved my original invoice that said I owe nothing. and when I called to cancel future shipments to me.  I wonder if this will end up on my credit anyways.

they sent me a email saying about my purchase i reported them to the feds for malicious and false pretenses for the call trying to get credit cards numbers

They called me saying I owed 140.00 on something that I had already payed off through automatic debits on my account.  Big read letters saying I was turned in to collections and they tried to contact me several times before, which they didn't.  So freaking sick of these people!!!!!!

This is a bogus collections company.  They say you are late and being turned into collections.  The letter is only 1 page long.  If you call them, they immediately say they want your credit card number or your debt will be ruined.  DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It is a scam and it is costing innocent people a lot of money.

First, thanks to everyone who had posted already regarding this number. It quite possibly saved me from being scammed as well!

I was initially suspicious for two main reasons. One, while I did subscribe to Proactiv for a short time, I cancelled it about 7 months ago due to moving overseas, and I know my account must have been cleared to do so. Second, the from address was "Billing@autobillpayer.com" mentioning Proactiv nowhere, even though they clearly wanted you to think that it was Proactiv itself.

What is particularly insidious, however, is that I did indeed receive my last order of Proactiv on or around this date...the ship date was the 24th of August. So, I dutifully went through my old bank statements and matched it to the orders, and as far as I can tell I paid 100% of everything I was owed and have documentation to prove it.

At this point I search the number in the email and come upon this and other helpful web pages. Thankfully I don't receive any calls, as my old US phone number is long cancelled, and I found this helpful information before I blindly called the number.

I'll be keeping a close watch on my bank account just in case. It is unsettling that they had both my email address and approximate order date, as well as the general level of complexity involved in this scheme.

One more note...I find it funny that those who have successfully (unfortunately) talked to someone at this number complain of the bad English, and interspersed with the legitimate posts on these forums are posts like "they are just collecting money with ppl who has debt". Entirely coincidental I'm sure...

Yeah!  These Turkeys have been call me several times a day for weeks until I dialed *69 to get the numer to call back. I was on hold for 8 minutes until I got a live person, Almost though I was on hold at a Funeral Home,
I axed them just who you bee! whushh yo want! They would not reveal who they were, they were axing me a lot of personal questions! So I says you go taking jourass off mys fhone! Then I hung up And only cost me .75 cents!

I cancelled the Proactive order months ago and have a cancellation notice , the payments were automatic until I cancelled then they stopped a month later.
These Express Response people have been sending collection notices and have been calling asking for me by name but not saying who they are and why they are calling.
I don't know what to do and after reading these posts I am wondering if I really want to answer  or try to get in touch with them, it only sounds like I could be dragged into a viscious circle. They don't have my credit card or any personal information at this point and I'll leave it at that.

I am a receptionist for a company. On Monday we received the first phone call and no one spoke and they hung up. They called many more times the same day and kept hanging up. On Tuesday they called over 100+ times (not a joke) taking up all 5 lines we have so no one who is ACTUALLY IMPORTANT can get through. Making our clients pissed. On Wednesday I called the number back and spoke to a customer service rep to kindly take us off your calling list!!! We have no affiliation with them WHAT SO EVER. They asked for my number and my name, which I gave them. They said it would take 48 hours to update there records.. they kept calling while I was on the phone with the rep. On Thursday they called over 300+ times (no joke) and "Anet Smith" was looking for all these MADE UP NAMES and no one by any of those 300 names work for our company. I called the company back DEMANDING to speak to this Anet Smith, they told me we don't take calls for Anet. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM. Now today is Friday and it is slow for our company and they are still calling. It has been well over 48 hours and we are still not off this list. As I am typing this they are still calling. We have never bought anything from this "company". MAKES ME SO MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DONT PAY THIS! There CRAZY and not a real company!!!!

866 441 4728 Has been calling for multiple months, usually between 9 and 10AM, but just now again this afternoon. EVERY DAY. Please let me know how I can stop them. It's always a hang-up when I answer, never any voicemails. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to GET IT TO STOP CALLING! Thanks for understanding my frustration.

I am receiving unwanted and disturbing calls from 866-441-4727.. No one there know what they are talking about. True I did order the product that they are claiming but nothing else is correct. They said they only received 1 payment from me and that was a payment of $50.00. For started the product I ordered was for weight loss. My initial payment was for half (more that $50)of the selling price and my credit card was charged exactly 28 days later for the remaining balance. I received a call today and the lady is like "your credit card ending in XXXX did not go through?" I'm like what? Go through for what? Then they won't send me proof that i only made the $50.00 payment. They honestly expect me to prove something to them. My advice to the employers of this SCAM is to make sure you get all your information before you go buying delinquent accounts. Also to stop calling my phone before I sue. To the employees of this SCAM- find another job. I know that the job field isn't as promising as it was a few years ago- but you have to be a heartless individual to work for a company that robs people.

Received several calls from Express Response- they asked for 'Jeff' each time, even though I told them there was no one by that name ... I told them to remove my name from their list and if they called again, I would report them.. Hope they do, sounds like they are bad news..
